A walk in time

My son and I visited this museum during our holiday at Varca, Goa over Christmas 2019. We literally stumbled upon it as we drove by and the 3 ton anchor drew us right in. We were guided by 2 bright girls (one called Apple Star who is the owner's daughter)

Not worth it

This really was a waste of a few hours. Nothing worth buying, nowhere to buy a cold drink. We are not new to India but it was probably the most underwhelming place we have visited. Avoid

A beautiful chilling beach, very fine sand, 3 shacks (one was already closed), a few friendly dogs .... That's it.Sunbeds and parasols, shower and toilets are available depended to the shacks where you'll get also any food and beverages.In the daytime app

Well kept gardens

The gardens and area are kept beautifully here. The people are clearly proud of their work. The are places to sit in sun or shade while you take in the busy roads all around and coming and going of locals. The toilets situated here are clean enough to use

Very old n quaint church up on the hill

Very old church open only on Sundays. More of a chapel. Fantastic view as it overlooks the city. Quite a climb but worth it.

The Chandranath temple is located 15 km away from Margao on the road towards Quepem.Being situated on a hill it boasts of great views of the surrounding areas.There are 2 ways of accessing the temple, either driving up via the winding roads or climbing up
