Fun means of transportation

We visited Mariana and took the train back to Ouro Preto. The train is nicely renovated (or new in an old style) and it is definitely a fun way of getting from one place to another and you do get prettier views from the train than from the road.If you are in Ouro Preto/Mariana during the weekend (fri-sun) and can spare the 40Rs, enjoy the scenery from the train.

Go and sear anywhere inside. No need to hear the local guides buble talk. Just stare every detail inside-out this incredible church. Notice the porcelain tiles. Check the thickness of the walls. Go behind the altar etc.
