Beautiful service.

This is apparently the church attended by the Royal Family, although not on the Sunday I was there. Attending a church service in the South Pacific islands is a must do, as I also did in the Cook Islands, whether Christian or not. The singing and harmonie

PLENTY of stuff!

Easily spent about three hours wandering around, wouldn't have minded having a heap more money to buy some of the local collectibles as they are really quite impressive. Lots of fresh fruit and Vegies too.

Disappointing

After hearing such good reviews about this place, I was highly disappointed with the service. If you want to take a trip to one of the islands it is actually cheaper to just go to the ferry and take a trip and pay directly both for Royal Sunset Resort (At

Sadly locked up

Weather damage earlier this year still puts this grand old church off limits and likely to be so for a long time. Only the Mormons seem to be a funded church around the island these days.

I enjoyed it...

It's an easy walk from town and it although you couldn't get up close and personal, you still were able to capture the respect/tradition that is bestowed upon the Royal Tongan family.

Best in the Kingdom

I love the taste of Tongan coffee, which is widely available in Nuku'alofa's coffee shops. I would recommend Kingdom Koffie look at selling coffee bags or pods which are more commonly used overseas. There is a limited availability at shops in Tonga and th

Unfortunately has suffered the same thefts and desecration as St Mary’s Cathedral. However, interesting to have a look inside to see how the French early missionary influence and Tongan religious art have mixed. The statue of Jean d’Arc was interesting.Th
