Lip smacking Indian food
The restaurant is on the Liverpool Road in Burwood and getting parking can be a challenge. The food here is awesome and authentic Indian. We had the vegetable platter, assortment of breads, village special chicken curry and paneer kurchan. All of them were lip smacking good. The ambiance is ok but not fine dining. The service is very friendly and prompt.

What is all the hype about should be called One Penny BLAND
Visited this restaurant tonight being a local- the only positive thing I can say is the service that was provided. The cod fritters had no zang or zing and were bland which were perfectly matched with the main course of gnochhi I've had. The gnocchi was overcooked with no burnt butter as stated in the menu and bland with a capital B. The gnocchi sat on a thin thin layer of slightly grated cheese. The menu did say zucchini flowers but they were cut so small there was certainly no flower although the vegetables were nicely cooked. Being so close to Haberfield you would think they would produce great quality pasta. My partners meal of barramundi was dry with the smallest pippies and prawns you have seen - once again BLAND BLAND BLAND. How do they get great reviews is beyond me?

There’s a reason the New York Times reviewed this place!
This place is spectacular - simple as that. As my title says, there is a reason that a publication as revered as the New York Times has reviewed this place (and gave it a stellar write-up). Google the article! This was my second time here and both my visits were an 11 out of 10.Order anything, literally anything, from the menu, and you will be in culinary heaven. You can’t go wrong. On my second visit, I came here with work colleagues. We had the $55 per person feast (as required due to having 8 people there) and each one of us were unbelievably impressed ... we were so full by the end of the night. The homemade bread is delicious and was a favourite amongst the table. The zucchini balls and roasted pumpkin disappeared the moment they landed on the table. The chicken was so soft and tender that it felt like it melted on the tongue. I could go on, but there is no point: simply put, this place is a standout and we are oh so lucky to have it right here in Canterbury. The food was exemplary, the service was fast, and the atmosphere was highly enjoyable. Don’t rock up without a booking; you won’t get a table - be sure to book. This place is an absolute must. You’re missing out if you haven’t already visited!

Food Glorious Food!!
A very intimate restaurant with nothing flash but the food was truly amazing!! Total patrons in the main restaurant would be about 20-25 with a separate room for a small ish group. Seven courses, individually presented by the "creator" of the dish. Matching wines available for extra charge. The staff were not pretentious but very professional at the same time. Our glasses were magically filled without fuss. It is not a cheap restaurant by any means but well worth saving for.

Excellent food in a welcoming environment
The food showed its French heritage with complex and intense flavours throughout the menu. The portions were not large but suited the dishes that were well balanced and full of flavour. From the complementary escargot to the last mouthful of dessert the dishes we enjoyed were a delight to eat. The wine list was not extensive but provided good choices in all the right categories. We were there on a slow night and the service was exceptionally attentive and helpful.

Meals in French restaurant with Asian chefs
Noticed the very good ratings on trip advisor with this French restaurant. Surprised to see Asian chefs cooking the meals. The meals Pork Belly and Barramundi were nice but small in portion. They looked like My Kitchen Rules contestants with the presentation. Personally I like to good meal rather then a fancy one.

Today, we went to this restaurant first time. Awesome experience for the whole family. Food was delicious and fresh. Kids enjoyed their pizza and good thing was after eating three big pizzas between us, our stomachs were light, not heavy like other pizzas. Margarita pizza was simply divine....

It’s so good to be back
We love everything about this lounge. The staff, the ambience, the champagne, the food, the amenities and oh, did I mention the champagne and service. Do whatever you need to do to linger for hours! Such a wonderful experience. We feel like rockstars, superstars, royalty and rich and famous but at the same time, it’s private and intimate. Come soon. Highly recommended!
