Fantastic dinner at surprising location
We were pleasantly suprised. Not only by the location (virtually on the beach) but also by the pleasant and relaxed atmosphere created by an experienced hostess/owner who likes to mingle with the guests but at the same time sees everything that needs attention. But most important, the food: plenty of a wide variety of fresh fish that is grilled to perfection and fresh salads that have fantastic dressings. You need nothing more. After dinner shots on the house were much appreciated.Happy to return if we can !

All the food was tasty and enjoyable and the staff very pleasant. The one fault, a couple of time in 5 night stay we were engulfed with large flies. They hung around for an hour and was very uncomfortable. Eventually the staff bought us some mosquito candles... but they didn't do much.Good place to visit thoughTony and Angela ( England )

Multiple visits during our trip
My husband and I ate at this restaurant for most of the meals during our 3 night stay in Donsol and we weren't even staying at the resort! This restaurant has a beautiful layout, friendly staff, and a large menu with great food at a great price. You have to try to mango and banana pancakes for breakfast and the vegetable lumpia are incredible!

An oasis for the weary and hungry traveler
During the off-season, there are not much available options for the travelers. Most restaurants are closed and the wet market packs up by 7 pm. This place offers good meals for reasonable prices ranging from P80-220 for breakfast meals and about ₱180-350 for the viands. Opens at 6 am and closes at 9 pm. If you are checked in at Vitton you can charge it to the room and pay upon check out. Sometimes at the beach, you meet local vendors who peddle their catch of the day. You can buy this for cheap and have the cafe cook it to your liking for a cooking charge. Staff are friendly and accomodating.

Basic bar food, but just fine
Friendly and helpful staff make for a good experience. We had baled out of Vitton Resort next door in search of something other than Filipino food. By this stage in our trip, we were kind of over belly pork and smashed chicken. Almost exactly the same menu as Vitton Cafe, however, so we settled for soup and a club sandwich, A sad option, really. So our advice is to revamp the menu in both locations to include some Western options. Thanks to the staff for being so helpful and helping us to enjoy the lovely location, if rather disappointing food.

My friend and I always do restaurant hopping whenever I have vacation in Donsol. One time we went to a very native but charming restaurant [liked interior very laid back] for our lunch after some swimming. Well at first you will never expect a great food in a simple set up. But then, the Tinola sa Gata by the inhouse chef blew us away really hard! It was sooooo good. =) Jessica the owner is really doing it so right. =)
