Authentic Italian and super service
We visited based on Tripadvisor rating and were not dissapointed. We were six people who had various pasta dishes, and they were all excellent and very Italian. The host Andrea was super friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant itself is cozy, and a small section of Italian delicacies is attached.

Situated in one of Kristinehamn's oldest wooden buildings this is a cafe adjoining a pottmaker's. Owner is an expert on coffee and tea and happily shares his wisdom with their cusomers. Home baked cakes and freshly ground and brewed coffee or tea served in partner's own cups. A few seats outdoors as well, next to the old hotel at the centre of town and small river.

Big surprise- friendly restaurant with fresh food in former legal building
During a recent visit to the city we booked table for 4 for a Sunday night. The place is amazing with part of the original design of the old court building (designed by architects Axel and Hjalmar Kumlien and finished in 1883) intact.Restaurant, which is fairly, recently opened (spring 2015) is Italian but has extensive a la carte menu both with regard to fish and meat. We had starters (toast Skagen), both steaks and fish for main courses and ice cream deserts.Everything was served in generous portions, plenty of fresh vegetables and to our surprise it tasted much better than you would expect from a small town restaurant. In summary, very friendly knowledgeable personnel, great service, we would go back any day both for atmosphere (ceiling must be 10 m high), friendly service and good food. Can be recommended!

A friendly Restaurant
We were a medium sized party made up of Swedish and British. Although there is self-service/buffer we sat and ordered from the menu. Overall the food and service was very good although there was some confusion when serving up the meals as the waiters referred to them by their numbers listed on the menu rather than the names of the meals .... the menus had been taken away at this point in time, and not everyone could remember their meal numbers!
