Ordinary weekday dinner with a colleague
The Venue is decorated and equipped with taste, beautiful design, not too much but tasteful accessories. Attentive service, good offer.Bread, olive oil (with plenty bay leaves, a matter of taste) and dips served as appetizers.Beef tournedo well cooked, good portion and tasty mushroom sauce, vegetables to the point.Seafoodpasta a bit overcooked and salty.Rose wine bottles all with metal cap and the one we choose a bit old for simple quality of wine. House white wine is the better choice.Good espresso and lipton tea served, and a Limonicello liquor on the house, bill on the higher end. As we were early maybe, it was very quiet. Atmosphere, service and hospitality great, food depends a bit and fine dining prizes.

Great food ... But ....
Dinner at Santoku. Lovely decor - elegant and calm. Food was delicious. Service acceptable (better than most restaurants, but not the best that I have experienced in Accra). Our dining experience may perhaps have been better had we not been outside on the patio.Parking crazy - totally insufficient. Music not in keeping with the ambience and so repetitive (techno, with the same few chords over and over and over again). And .... The mouse scurrying across the floor .... Hmmm (as I said, may have been better had we been inside). To be honest, in my opinion - not up to what one would expect for the prices charged. Very much doubt we"ll be patrons at Santoku again soon.Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. This restaurant consistently serves excellent food and a changing menu - whatever food is tried is always of great quality which must be difficult to source and sustain. Despite the interior not changing very much, the atmosphere is always great, the Owner always hospitable and appreciative of the guests - always full . We visited twice in one week and had tried two other restaurants which were new on the block but came back to this tried and tested excellent restaurant

After visiting many Ethiopian restaurants in the USA and Addis I have found one that has it all. Tender Lamb, Chicken and even Beef. Service was great, food favorable and spicy where it should be.I love the poor man's food "Shirow" (probably spelled wrong) was delicious. I'm in country for 2 more days I just might have lunch and dinner there.Derrick SalahuddinFrom CaliforniaThank you. We try our best and appreciate it when our guests enjoy our meals and service. Worth the extra cost
We went to Poloclub Restaurant and Lounge for a Sunday lunch.Welcoming atmosphere. Professional and well trained staff. The food was delicious and portions smaller, more manageable - not as large as most Ghanaian Restaurants. We had the Grilled Salmon and the Teriyaki Chicken as mains followed by ice cream and sorbet.A bit pricey, but well worth the cost. A great dining experience. We will certainly be back.

Mexican evening in Accra
Popped into Coco lounge for dinner in the middle of Mexican evening. Good atmosphere and restaurant was almost full. Food for OK, and beer was cold. However, I have to say that doing these "exotic themes" is quite challenging when clearly nobody had ever been in Mexico.....Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Best value for money in Accra
I absolutely adore this place. I totally recommend the cachopo with mashed yam for lunch. Salads are also awesome and if you have the chance, try the carbonara.Lucía has an amazing team, very friendly and efficient. The mixed crowd that gathers there almost every day (or evening) makes it a hidden gem inside Alliance Française.By the way, it’s a very short ride to the airport, which also makes it a perfect opportunity for a last drink in Accra.Keep up with the good job, guys!

The soup was amazing
The different soups were amazing. The best I have had in Ghana and I enjoy more that the Nigerian pepper soup. I tried three different ones. I will admit the other food I tried was not too my taste, but it was very well cooked and I am still very pleased I came and tried it.
