This hidden gem is definitely the cherry on top!

Apart from Fuheis being a nice city to visit just outside of Amman, with old churches, greenery everywhere and amazing views from a top most of its hills. Housh is an art gallery/cafe styled 200 old home or so, the walk to it amongst these old houses makes it just beautiful,, then you walk in, with its welcoming music, cozy seatings and simplicity in food, makes this old home seem like a piece of heaven.. I definitely recommend it for any visit to this country, and a great weekend brunch spot!

Good food lively atmosphere

This is an Arabic food restaurant designed in old stone building style and located not far from Municipality building in old Fuheis. They have live music going, went there on a Monday and there was a guy who sang lots of popular Arabic/Jordanian songs, good voice and pleasant character. However, not the place for you if you are after a quiet relaxing dinner. The crowd is relatively young and enthusiastic, with several couples that end up dancing around their tables etc.The food is very good. No fancy dishes, the regular stuff, tabbouleh, fatoush, sujuq, hummus, Baba Ghannouj, kubbeh etc plus grills, and they do serve alcohol.Waiters are good and attentive.Recommended!

Excellent and Affordable

Actually we were very hungry while visiting a friend in al fohais area, so we decided to dine there but we are not familiar with the restaurants there, so I asked for help from a friend of mine who advised us to try this Lebanese Restaurent and we did. The place is nice and capacious with high ceilings, the music is not loud and not annoying, the staff is friendly and responsive and most important is that the food is affordable. I do not make mind going there over and over. Than you Maisam for your advice. Thank you for your review and we hope to see you again

Terrific food in a quaint historical building

We were shown up to the second floor restaurant where they served meat dishes for tourist. The building itself is interesting being a renovated historic building where the wonderful host showed us back rooms. The meals we ordered were one of the best we have had in Jordan. The host suggested a nice salad to go with it. He also suggested the strawberry juice with milk and this was particularly great. Overall great food and good value for money.Hello, we are very glad to serve you, our restaurant depends on making the customer happy,we hope to see again.

Just OK meats. Best pita in the world and great chocolate baklava.

$14 JD for lamb: good but fatty chunks, raw pink chicken, plastic lamb kebab, amazing choc and nuts baklava, gross eggplant meze, good spicy olives, good lammy fried croquet. Best pita ever, with sesame seeds, smelled like pizza bread, salad, good fresh. So-so, average grilled meats, but fun atmosphere. In the fancy part of town, some far flung burb, not near anything interesting.
