The best Indian in the area
We really enjoyed our visit over Easter weekend. The restaurant is very small so you must book in advance. The chutney tray was the best we’ve had, very fresh and the staff were attentive to refill them. The staff were very knowledgeable of the menu and made helpful recommendations to help us try different dishes. The food was delicious with generous portions. Every curry we ordered was very different, freshly cooked and so tasty! It’s great that you can see the food being prepared in the kitchen, proving it is all freshly made in a spotless kitchen. We’ll definitely be returning!

Virtuoso cooking in a delightful location
Signatures has long been our preferred restaurant in the Llandudno - Conwy area and for good reason. Its plus points are outstanding food, presented in a relaxed atmosphere, plentiful free parking, delightful staff, plentiful free parking, outstanding attention to detail and did I mention the plentiful free parking?Top restaurants are normally in areas where it’s all but impossible to park. The plentiful free parking, right outside the restaurant and in an area supervised by security, makes the visit far easier than for many places. Ease of getting there aside, what matters in any restaurant is the food. I’ve said this before but having eaten at three star Michelin restaurants around the world, Signatures stands proudly in comparison with those places.Eating there is a leisurely affair. Never have we felt rushed, never pressured and their response to any requests is immediate and professional. But above all the food is outstanding. The executive chef takes enormous pride in his work, revealed in every bite. Their black pudding starter is rightly famed but this time I decided to try the crispy duck. Crispy duck is easy to mess up; it can be dry, hard, burnt and tasteless. Crispy Duck at Signatures is a revelation. A single leg, cooked to perfection, accompanied by two types of sauce, one of which seemed to be a Burgundy, and a small number of possibly stir fried vegetables. The vegetables were truly mouth watering. Multiple distinct tastes, perfectly complimenting the duck, competed with the two types of sauce to create a starter that would pass for a main meal in some places. It’s true to say we’ve never been disappointed by the taste of the food. What makes it very special is that all the various sauces, black puddings, desserts and soups are made in their kitchens. So when you visit Signatures you’re getting a rare treat. Their food is also served in generous portions: it’s too easy to fill up on a starter and a main. That leaves no room for one of their sumptuous desserts, a criminal loss. In short, a visit to Signatures is the equivalent to dining at a top London, Michelin-starred restaurant. And Signatures is in the Michelin guide. But this is a special place. In our experience nowhere in the area even comes close.

Lovely family run restaurant, great staff
Absolutely lovely restaurant with fab food. The staff couldn’t be more accommodating, friendly and helpful. Our group choices ranged from mussels to fish mains, daily pasta specials, veal and different steaks. Very happy to help on dietary needs and the vino was lovely too. The bill was most acceptable too. All in all such a good night that all 6 of us voted unanimously to return the next night for a birthday celebration. Superb

A tast of heaven in Conwy North Wales
My husband & I came by this restaurant quite by accident, but what a gift was waiting inside. A really cosy, welcoming atmosphere. The staff could not have been more helpful. My husband loves all spices, the hotter the better! However, I’m quite fussy about spicy food & I can only eat very mild dishes. Everywhere I go I always stick with a Korma, which can get rather tedious. The Manageress/Owner (not sure) came over to help with the menu. She quickly found a dish for my husband with the promise of ‘extra hot’. As for me she offered several mild dishes that I could add to or take away. Whatever I chose I was given the promise of it being mild. She came through on both promises!!! Our individual meals were mouth-wateringly tasty, they were delicious. Our only error was finding this restaurant at the end of our holiday. This year we’ll be making several visits whilst we’re in Conwy for a week. If you get the opportunity don’t miss out on this wonderful find. I promise if you visit you will not be disappointed. Jane & Linus Birmingham
