A hidden gem!
If you didn't know about this Italian restaurant (pizzéria doesn't really do it justice), you would never go there. Down a long unlit street, it is really off the beaten track. But what a treat you would miss. An excellent choice of tasty Italian dishes at very reasonable prices. I was intrigued by the spaghetti inside a huge Parmesan cheese. The restaurant attracts clients of all ages and business as well as family parties. As testament to its popularity, it was crowded on a Tuesday evening.

Best beer and burger EVER!
I've eaten at KeltenFurst a few times now and have to say that their burgers are some of the best I've had throughout my travels in America and other parts of the world. The chefs create some of the most amazingly delicious dishes. You must try the "Cowboy burger" - handmade Angus beef patty cooked to perfection with a generous scoop of tender BBQ Pulled-pork and homemade coleslaw on a Brioche bun. And then there's the beer. Absolutely some of the best beer I've had. I just wish it was closer to where I live.

The Wichtel craft brewery started life in Ditzingen. In 1989, it first opened its doors here and quickly found a great number of loyal friends thanks to its self-brewed beers and the exclusive Wichtel cakes. Since the end of 2013, the Wichtel has been bac

Overpriced, unless you can afford a 911 then you don' care ...
very nice restaurant, in the first floor of the Porsche museum (there is also a cafeteria at streetlevel); specially nice steaks; BUT (!) very high priced; well .. if you own one or several Porsche, you visit the museum, you find that the meaning of life is to build fast cars and to win races, then you definetely should eat there and just enjoy it .. follow the spirit as Wendelin Wiedekind said: "No one really needs a Porsche"

Nice meal in a building with great atmosphere!
While they didn't have English menus, we had a wonderful hostess who translated everything for us. She was delightful! The food arrived quickly and was very good. While I do prefer my pork schnitzel to be crispy, the pork was very tender and delicious. The portions were good too. It seemed to be very popular with the locals.

Quality food at good prices!
We had dinner here after checking in (quite late) to the Mercure on the corner; dinner is served until 10pm. The beers were cold, well priced & flowing! We didn't order an entree rather went straight to the main. I was impressed because after only asking the waiter for a table & talking amongst the two of us he bought an English menu & a German menu! It's that kind of nice touch that I appreciate, especially after a long drive!I had the special of the day - lamb rack with beans & bacon (very German & amazing!) & roasted potatoes, served with a green salad. The lamb didn't have a sauce but it was succulent & delicious, a little salt & pepper was all it needed. My other half had the steak with green peppercorn sauce & fries. The sauce was quite possibly the best steak sauce I have ever tried...punchy garlic, whole green peppercorns & creamy deliciousness. The service was quick & efficient. The whole meal was 45EUR & from memory that included the tip. The other meals that were coming out of the kitchen also looked pretty amazing. Mains are well priced, they seem to range from about 10EUR to about 22EUR. If you're staying close by drop in & give this restaurant a go.

Down the steps under the train overpass and up the steps from the Holdiay Inn.
We had pasta bolognese and rolled pasta filled with ricotta and spinach. Servers were pleasant and food was good. They have a bar and you can sit outside or In. It is on the bottom of an Office building . Very casual prices are fair.
