A 50th yo remember
My wife organised a trip to celebrate my birthday with 10 friends and we had the Library area, which was perfect. Not too private, just enough to give us an intimate dining experience we were looking for. The option of set menus was comprehensive and the staff went out of their way to make sure it was a wonderful night. I have eaten here many times and haver never been disappointed.

Simply amazing seafood
Fresh seafood at its best From John Dory to crab so many dishes to choose from and they are cooked and presented well. No pretentious weird sauces but simply fresh seafood was the star. All the dishes were great but the stand out was the king prawns. They were largest prawns we’ve ever seen and they were absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a live band playing and staff are friendly. Great food and great service - what else do you need?

I had quite a pleasant meal at Ciccolina. The starters were very good, however, the Scotch fillet steak was a disappointment. I ordered it medium rare and the consistency of cooking was poor and the steak itself very gristly and chewy. Possibly, I just lucked upon a poor piece of meat but I would be reluctant to order it again. Generally, the service was good. Some would ask why I did not say something at the time. I was part of a dinner party and was reluctant to cause any embarrassment for my host.

The Venue A little bit eclectic, a little bit Gansta, a little bit posh and a little bit grungy. Think F. Scott Fitzgerald meets The Dead Rabbit, New York. St LuJa doesn’t really fit into any specific mould as such but is happy to break them all! It is de

Fantastic service, great atmosphere
Visiting from Perth, we checked the reviews for St Luja. Menu looked appealing and reviews were good, so we made a booking. The staff here are fantastic. Friendly service & helpful with the drinks menu. I ordered a Bourbon Sour which was out of this world. Entree of Mac n Cheese was tasty, mains of Grain salad (added brisket) was a large portion, Porterhouse steak & Cheeseburger were all cooked well, nothing to fault. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Hello Nina,Thank you for dining with us and for taking the time to write this awesome review. We hope top see you next time you are in Melbourne.St. LuJa Team

My wife and I have tried to get a reservation for a long time. Finally, we got a reservation and planned a foodie escape to Melbourne based around it. Our night didn’t start out so well with my wife’s Christian Louboutin heel getting caught in the escalator at the hotel. After leaving the shoe wedged in the escalator and with my wife in tears. I was worried that our night was ruined. However, upon arriving at Attica our night took a turn in the right direction and never looked back. The service, the food and the wine advice all exceeded our expectations. I don’t want to give away any of the secrets of the restaurant. However, there is no better feeling in life than when your highest expectations are exceeded! Thank you for one of our most memorable dining experiences!!

The food is delicious and serving sizes are amazing. I nearly fell over backwards when the parmi came out, that I scared the waiter with my shock. These sizes are obviously standard. The service was good too and the prices were great. Would recommend. We will return if and when we come back to St Kilda.

This place is an institution and well known in St Kilda. Classically decorated with. A 1950’s style with booths and tables it’s a nice place to come for an meal. Went here with a vegan and vegetarian and they couldn’t stop raving about the place. Prices are good too. Very affordable. Big shout out to staff who were fabulous. Gets busy so you may have to wait. Dietaries catered for, just let staff know. Takeaway available. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram and stroller accessible. Parking is okay.

What a fantastic place.
I love Dandelion! It's my go to place for special occasions, and somewhere I will always take visitors to, especially if they are from interstate or overseas. The food is just wonderful, the service excellent, the ambience terrific. You have to book early, as it's always busy, to get the table you want, and it's certainly and expensive place, but it's worth it. Especially for special occasions. And it was this time for me - a birthday dinner. Once again, just lovely food, great service, not too noisy and a quiet ambience. We ordered a serve each of the crab spring roll in lattice rice paper, with lettuce and herb wrap and also one each of the green rice fried Tiger prawn also with lettuce and herb wrap. So delicious! Then a main course to share - Bahn Xeo - turmeric coconut pancake with pork and crab salad, ginger, bean sprouts, herbs and lettuce wrap and a side of lotus leaf wrapped fried rice with egg and vegetable. We were also going to get a smaller dish to share, but our kind waiter advised against it - what we ordered would be more than enough, and it was!!! Usually you’d be subject to upselling - not this time! I was most impressed. A glass of Shiraz for each, and we left satisfied and amply fed!
