So worth a detour!
Four of us had lunch at H-eat and loved every single one of our dishes! Four starters, main courses and desserts — everything was impeccable. While the dishes reflect an unpretentious bistro style, the quality of the ingredients and of the cooking elevates them to a superior eating experience. Interesting wine selection, and excellent wine service all throughout our meal. All of the waiting staff was as cordial as they were professional. From the open kitchen, the chef takes the time to greet guests as they arrive and leave the restaurant, which is a nice touch. Our visit was absolutely perfect, from beginning to end. With only 30 seats, make sure to reserve well ahead of time — definitely worth it!

Fresh, quality produce, nice interior
We celebrated a family event here, and had a fixed meal option, which was adapted to the dietary needs of two of the participants. The restaurant is run by a couple, and we were geven an excellent service. Beautifully presented dishes, excellent food. Modern interior, lovely garden for the Summer. The only minus is the location away from the city centre.

2nd visit, 2nd wow experience
This was our 2nd visit after a long period, and we were equally pleased as the initial visit. The concept is quite unique and offers a nice change in experience. Welcome was warm and informal, amuses different extremly tasty and well presented. The starting dish was excellent: aspargus as main component, prepard in various ways, with complemetary ham and ingredients that paired well. A nice start to dinner. We selected red wine for the table to pair mostly with the main dish. The flavours in the meat were very tasty and well accompanied with vegetables. An unforgetable dish. Dessert was a play on a traditional panna cotta, but again the presentation made the difference. In terms of taste, one of the best meals I had in the last months. I'll be back here

Always a new special on the menu!
You gotta love Lasagne ofcourse... :) but these guys know how to upgrade this deliciouos Italian dish into a even more incredibly tasty meal with ingredients you don't always expect to get in a Lasagne. I have tasted all the Lasagna's on the menu and try to have the time to pass by for the monthly special. Also the Limoncello is the best I have ever had.. this Liquor is also made by themselves and yummy!

it's lonely at the top
I guess, at least for this restaurant in Lier. For a very affordable price (you will pay the same in a brasserie) you get star-cuisine, but you don't feel like being in a stiff star restaurant (I know, there are lots of other start restaurants). The six of us took the market menu, and we all were very pleased with what we got. You're being served by people who don't mind taking time for their customer, and the portions are quite generous. We didn't decide yet when we'll go back, but that's only a matter of time...

Top class lunch
Michelin star chef/owner Sergio Herman and his former Chef patron Nick Brill opened this contemporary restaurant in a chapel of a former military hospital. The Jane is one of the trendiest places at the moment in Antwerp with an amazing interior. The 80 seat restaurant was full lunchtime on a Thursday. The well balanced and creative menu is served by an attentive, happy and helpful staff. There was one menu available, together with the amuse bouches we have received 12 courses. All of them were prepared and plated with care and attention. Some unusual ingredient pairings appeared at the table, such as chawanmushi carabinero with sea urchin and truffle soy vinaigrette, wild pheasant with paktmushroom and chicory. Our favourites were the oyster ceviche and the risotto with eel and herbs but all other plates were also 10 out of 10Lunch was finished off with 2 incredible Jasper Valley (Massachusetts) cheese and a mind-blowing good cheesecake.
