Hidden from the public, Kocusa is one of the most beautiful natural phenomena In Herzegovina. Manager Željan, who didn't know that we are coming, wished my client's welcome and helped a ladie in the wheelchairs, found an excellent table for my customers and made sure they enjoyed the food. The food is great, very delicious, and the service is very fast and kind. I recommend to all those who will visit West Herzegovina.

Second time here, with a familyWe had grilled frogs and eel with chips and silverbeat.Chips was cold and soggy, not edible, silverbeat overcooked, almost brown, frogs and eel i suppose OK.Luckily I had some cabbage salad and bread otherwise would have left a place hungry. Dear Jadranka,I apologize if your meal wasn't up to standards. Sometimes mistakes happen, especially when it's high season and restaurant is full. I'm glad frogs and eel were OK. We always encourage our guests to tell waiter directly if something is wrong, so we can correct mistake right away. I just wish you did that also, we would have brought you new meal instantly. Delicous fresh food, happy environment
La Cascada opened in Summer 2015 and we are so glad that it did.The food is made from garden fresh, quality ingredients and is cooked and served to a very high standard. This is some of the best Pizza I have ever eaten and I am delighted that it is available in Ljubuski as it has made our family summers that little bit more pleasurable. Your figure won't thank you to know that the puddings are also out of this world and the Tiramisu is the lightest you will ever have tasted.Over the summer we worked our way through most of the menu and we enjoyed all of it. My favourite? The Delizia Pizza - piled high with fresh local tomatoes and herbs. Oh, and the Tartufo. Superb.

Bago is well known for excellent seafood. Our meal was very nice. 'Prstaci', special shells are my favourite. They are prohibited in Croatia but not in Bosnia and Herzegovina. To grow 5 cm long it will tale 15 to 30 years. We have had them strait from grill but you can try them on 'buzara' with parsley and garlic. White risotto with prawns has been delicious. Other meal was eal but I didn't like it so much. Calamari have been fresh and well grilled, I love them. Silverbeat was a bit boring but we managed to work out with herbs, salt, pepper and olive oil. Local wine was very nice.

Not the easiest place to find -- but WOW worth searching for
Our friend Aida wanted to show us some place special during a recent trip through Herzegovina. We hit all the usual spots including Mostar, Pocitelj, Blagaj and Hutova Blato bird preserve, and Kravice waterfalls, but it took a native to know about Kocusa Falls in little Vitina and this nearby Konoba or inn. It's a family run operation in an old mill on the Trebizat River (one of four rivers that gush and bubble through Herzegovina.) The setting could not be more beautiful or sound more soothing. You also can literally jump into the river while waiting for your order from a little beach built near the Konoba. The water is freezing even on the hottest day of the year, however, so not many people do this. The thing to order is trout (pastrmka in Bosnia, which always reminds me inaccurately of pastrami). Fish swim in a pen set into the gushing waterways through the restaurant and waiters scoop out your lunch with a net. Two trout per order -- plus the best French fries ever and crispy salad. And homemade bread. It was a great meal and we didn't eat for the rest of the day. Find this place. Write me if you need help with directions. It was almost empty when we were there. Most tourists rush through Herzegovina on way to or back from the Croatian coast. This place taught me I need to slow down.

Incredible restaurant, one of our best meals from a 2 month trip!
My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant on our one day trip to Bosnia from the Croatia region. We stopped here before crossing over the border back into Croatia and were treated to a grand experience! The food was incredible! Each dish that we ordered and were treated to was so tasty, fresh, and delicious! We did have to get creative with the language barrier, but it just added to the experience and the staff was kind and eager to make sure we were happy with our meal! I don't think I've ever had such a great tomatoes as these kind were! To me this restaurant should earn huge accolades and awards! Wish I could easily come back here again!

Ništa posebno, okej kafić
Internet je bio jako spor i puno je trebalo da se spoji. Kava ništa posebno, bila je okej. Na konobara smo jako dugo čekali. Ugodna atmosfera.

Drinks with friends
I was here twice in two days. First day I ate mixed meat platter for one person and it was huge and most important, tasted good. The real surprise was price, meat platter and salad was 14 BAM (7€) which is even for Bosnia and Herzegovina very good price.Second day I went with friends for drinks and after few rounds of Benediktiner owner sent us some homemade cured meat and homemade cheese snacks which were delicious.I would highly recommend this restaurant for all types of guests so if you are near Ljubuški or Međugorje it is good location for some peaceful meal or drinks.
