Exceptional! An experience long to remember.
We took a mid morning ferry from Trieste to Muggia on a beautiful Sunday morning and were charmed by the relaxed atmosphere of the town. We considered several places for lunch but so luckily picked this wonderful restaurant. The husband and wife team work smoothly to deliver the finest food experience. The mixed seafood antipasto was superb - such choice and flavours. The stuffed ravioli and prawns were sublime in flavour. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the welcome extended to us. My Italian is poor but I hope enough to communicate our appreciation. So sad time did not permit a return visit

Nice lunch, quaint spot
Hubs and I both had the grilled cuttlefish - nice and tender, side potatoes and polenta were good. Dinner here seems to book quickly as the place is small but was perfect for a lunch stop. 30 euro for two dishes, coffee and half litre of wine.

Great Pizza with a smile!
We had a soccer match in the area and they kept the pizzeria open for us. Very hospitable, very quick (good thing because our teenagers were HUNGRY after the game!) and above all, excellent Pizza served with a smile. Will definitely return!

Servizio professionale e gentile. Ambiente accogliente. Prezzo giusto. Consigliatissimo.

A definitive Go Go
We visited mr. Renzo's twice in two consecutive evenings for dinner and we certainly enjoyed it a lot. First night we were introduced to two live crabs that walked onto our table like those Roman gladiators who saluted Ceasar before their fights. The spaghetti was excellent, cooked perfectly al dente with the right amount of sauce and spices. For starters we took the Tuna tartare which was fine but perhaps needed some more shallots or spices. The real deal of the establishment is of course Mr. Renzo himself who singlehanded serves, takes orders, discusses with his customers "friends" as he calls them, and proposes only what he has for the day since there is no actual menu. To close the perfect plate we ordered the sorbet with rum which was perfect. Second night mr. Renzo suggested gnochi with "branzino" which is seabass and it was indeed a very nice choice. You will not be dissapointed with the food but just because this restaurant is off the beaten path the amount you will pay is not very low. But it's worth it.

Good food in a simple atmosphere
Our experience at this Osteria consisted of good food in a simple atmosphere. The dining room is not decorated elaborately, but the cuisine was better than expected. Although on the night we dined we were told that a couple of our initial choices weren't available, the food we eventually were served was tasty and well prepared.

Delicious and friendly service
This is a great neighbourhood restaurant - worth the €10 taxi ride from the centre. The seafood pasta and meat course were both delicious, there's lovely local wines and really excellent service (plus complimentary grappa at the end - very dangerous!) it's also incredibly good value. I'd recommend!Grazie per la bellissima recensione..a presto
