Unique experience an hour from Santiago
Friends took us for lunch to this fantastic new attraction near Santiago. The all inclusive price covers a shared starter of Chilean salsa, paté, nuts and dried fruit, bread and crackers with the local version of sangría while a group of young horsemen show off their abilities on Chilean ponies followed by a demonstration of the national dance with a lovely young lady and a mounted suitor. Lunch follows with really delicious Chilean favorites catering for carnivores, vegetarians and vegans, an all-you-can-eat buffet of meat, fish, salads and legumes, wine, dessert and coffee. The hosts are delightful, the venue impeccable. I've lived in Chile for over 30 years and this is as good as it gets. You could combine it with a visit to one of the local wineries beforehand and have a great day out. Highly recommended for local and overseas tourists and I hope it is a huge success.

Come visit, great Italian food
Owned and serviced by its owners, the food is delicious. Try the sampler platter for 3 to 4 people for CLP 27.000. If you can/want include a local wine and you are set for the rest of the day. The Salsa Liguriana di Mando is also quite the experience. In short if you are around and fill like Italian food come visit.

Really nice food at the winery
After the tour of Concha y Toro, we ate here in mid-afternoon. We were hoping for vineyard views but it's in the courtyard by the shop and cellar, which still made for a pleasant couple of hours eating and drinking. The food was really good - good beef and lamb and even corn pies and the mains were well worth the $6,000-$12,000 prices. You can sample their expensive wines or get decent bottles at the lower end for around $10,000 - they forgot to bring our wine order but that was the only blemish on the service. English menus available if you need them and most staff knew English.

Visited El Manso Toro for lunch and it was the best meal we had during our month in Argentina and Chile. The facility is lovely, service is excellent and the steaks were wonderful. We shared a mixed grill for four. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Inadequate value for the money, sorry to say
I invited a friend from far away to get to know outside of Santiago and remembered this classical excursion destination in Pirque... unfortunately it was very expensive and just mediocre; i.e. I shall not return and cannot recommend the restaurant anymore.First they offered a starter, which surprised me that they would have ( locos ) to come back and excuse that it was not available, then they said to be specialized and famous for their "carnes a las brasas" ( grilled meat ), but in my humble opinion, they do not know how to cook meat. My entrañas, which I ordered "a la inglesa" ( saignant ) came raw on one end and overcooked at the other, so I had to cut off and send back part, plus overall rather tough. Third, we asked for and ordered a nice wine ( Carmenere Reserva ), recommended by the waiter, to find out that the restaurant actually multiplies 4 to 5 times on the wine... too expensive! Sorry again and definitely looking forward to finding other, better alternatives to eat lunch on the country side, in Pirque or around. In total, we spent almost US$100 for two, with two steaks and salads, two empanadas for starters and just coffee; no desert; 10% tips included. The surroundings and setting is nice, though.

Part of a conference center, food is poor
It is part of a conference center, so more suitable for business lunch. Quality of food is average but it can be terrible too. I had meat so hard that it was not edible. Service is cold, without care. Open also to families, but I would not recommend it!I'm so sorry you didn't enjoyed your stay with us. We are working very hard to make sure we improve on those matters every day. I'm confident on your next visit you will enjoy our food.

I do not want to bag on the people here, they were very nice and super friendly. But the place, which has a pool right at the restaurant, was full of children splashing. Not the most tranquil spot for lunch. That said, the people staying here were having a great time. And, like I said, they were very friendly. The problem was with Bicicleta Verde, not the place

Cozy, Quaint, Delicious!!!
We stopped here as part of our tour of Santiago before our wine tour. We were all on a pre cruise tour. The pisco sour, empenadas, breads and salad were delicious as for the meat it was incredible. Tender juicy and flavourful beef. Red and white wine were both available. We ate outside facing a beautiful background of a relaxing pool. I could have spent all day there it was so serene!!!
