They really need to know how to cook properly
We can beat the previous review... the new price for prawn crackers is now $5 for something that should be $1 lol wtfOk let's get back to the review and our initial ordering, definitely the prices are over inflated and the first sign is $3 each for hot tea when generally this is free (should be anyway at most Chinese restaurants unless they want to rip you off which sounds like the case nowadays generally)The prawn crackers come out and for the amount, we know we just got ripped off 400%, next the prawn crackers come out without the sweet & sour sauce. We asked where is the sauce but they didn't understand and said there was no sauce just the lemon unless we wanted plum sauce which we declined. Had a couple of bites of the prawn toast and it was very plain and dry 2/10The combination soup tastes very plain 2/10, the special fried rice looks like it's just been reheated in a microwave as the beef looks dry 3/10, the combination vegetables luckily was just ok 5/10.Szehuen beef looked promising however it failed to meet our expectations 3/10 and our last dish - sweet and sour dish which my partner said, even if you are white you cannot go wrong and luckily it was good enough 7/10Overall we don't know what's going on with this Chinese restaurant, the chef needs a lesson or they need an Asian chef or something, the only reason we stopped here was because it was on the way to the airport and we wanted an Asian dinner before we went to the airport.I can say that so far we've only seen white customers so they must think the food is alright however we haven't seen any Asians so looks like the owner is tailoring the tastes for the local community and they don't know what Asian meals should properly taste like? I don't know so I can only speculate Overall effect the in laws are crying in pain while I am writing this review - dissapointing all round. My local Chinese takeaway shop in Sydney is 10 x better than the crap this place serves upI didn't get a chance to upload his review on the night but apparently the brother vommited after when we got to the airport ... actions speak louder than words lol I can't believe I can't give 0/5

Food was good
Food was very good but despite ordering the option for spicy it was really not very spicy. If you want it chilli hot remember ti order extra chilli. Also the staff may look Indian but they don't even know much about the wall ornaments which was a little disappointing. Despite this it was a good spread and I do recommend giving it a go.

We enjoyed our stop at the fruit farm where we decided to have lunch. The food was well presented and tasted great. The salad dressing tasted so good we took away some of the fruit vinegars made on site.We would happily stop by again.

Affordable, typical pub grub
Reasonable, value for money pub grub. Prices quite good, particularly the $15 dinner specials Monday to Friday. Quite roomy. Drinks also reasonably priced. The loaf for $8 as a starter is quite large and comes with a garlic butter to spread on it.

Good Chinese food
Outlet has an impressive menu mainly noodles but there are other meat, seafood and vegetables dishes. We ordered spring rolls and the Chef's special noodles.Spring rolls were crunchy but just okay. However, the Chef's special noodles were very good and the ingredients fresh. It was a large plate and I suggest that it be shared.Outlet caters to takeaways as well.I noticed that many called in to order takeaways.

Nice baked goods
My girlfriend and I picked up a few scones to eat for breakfast, and they were great. We also bought a nice loaf of bread to go with the cheese we'd purchased at the adjacent Woolworth. The woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful, even though it was still pretty early in the morning.

Out of date chips on display
We ordered foot longs on Sunday, whilst in line, we noticed a stack of red rock chips out of date, told the male staff member who thought it was funny and left them there. I just wonder what else is not fresh....

Also great take a way
I have had a couple meals here, but this time we had take a way. Food was great, its a bit Australianised but the raw salmon was fresh and tasy. The Box concept is great, with different tastes able to be merged as you feel. A different experience in Sorell.Worth the visit.
