Great atmosphere , staff and stunning food

Wonderful. Worth reserving in advance, it is small and most people seem to be hotel guests. The decor is fabulous, really presents well. The young chef is highly capable and enthusiastic. The dinner is a buffet and the variety and quality is faultless, just superb. The main dishes are prepared in small batches so is freshly cooked. Again the quality is superb.I have been in Namibia for a week enjoying the best food available and this is by far the most enjoyable meal I have had.

Great food, eclectic place, friendly, competent staff

What a joy this place is! Eclectic rooms and furnishings. The staff could not have been nicer. There is so much to look at and every one of our party of 4 saw different things, pointing them out to others. We had salad and lasagna for lunch. It was very good. They have a pet menu also, so bring your pet. They have appropriate dinnerware for your pet. I wish we would have been in Swakopmund longer so that we could have sampled more. Don't miss visiting here.

First Rate Food

I included a more detailed review in my review of the hotel. However, they serve excellent food in a nice atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. I doubt you could get better food anywhere else in Swakopmund. It is more expensive than other places in town, but still only equates to the price of a very average English pub meal for considerably better food

Beautiful Setting by the sea - - Very tasty food

We enjoyed an early dinner at Brewer & Butcher on a beautiful evening at twilight. The walk to the restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed watching the waves and a spirited beach volleyball match. We were welcomed enthusiastically by the very-professional and service-oriented staff and enjoyed our meal very much. The highlight for us was the Skeleton Coast Seafood Pot with Spinach Ravioli which was enormous and seemed to contain the entire contents of the sea - - mussels, prawns, fish, clams, calamari - - delicious. Amarula cheesecake was our shared dessert. Tasty South African wine. A fun and tasty meal.Dear Guest,Thank you for your great review. Wonderful

This restaurant is located right by the ocean in Swakopmund in Namibia. I had the best grilled calamari here. The calamari was tender, not at all chewy and great seasoning. They also served a fairly large portion. Two of my friends ordered the "Extravaganza", which contained a platter of various seafood. Our server was fantastic. If you are paying separately and receive your bill, don't panic. The total will show the entire bill, but it is broken down within the bill. There were 10 of us that ate here. Your waiter will be more than glad to explain it to you. Personally, I think this is the go-to restaurant in Swakopmund. Try it if you are ever there.
