We are a small family run bar and restaurant in Khao Yai. Very friendly with air conditioned bar on the ground floor and restaurant upstairs. We are located at Veneto Piazza, next the 'Palio Khao Yai'. Our menu remains the same as our last location, great

Cosy and fun restaurant
Theme revolves around witches, with dolls, broomsticks and signs about witches. Limited tables with with outdoor tables and higher floor.Food was quite decent and prices are reasonable. They will be moving towards the front of the centre as the current place is somewhat farther inside. The rest of the place is pretty dead though, since they can't compete with Palio next door

Amazing and surreal themed eatery
This is one of the more memorable restaurants in Khao Yai that you will remember for a long time. The eclectic mix of toys and figurines all over the eatery, all the nooks and crannies and interesting surprises will appeal to the children in us all...and it helps that the food is equally good, fairly priced and of a wide range to balance the fun factor. There is a resort across the bridge that is set up by the owner... so you can eat, see and stay here...2 thumbs up...a must visit :)

A good lunch .. and a bit of a walk
We dropped by this place on the way to Khao Yai. We had lunch there, it was our first time there too. We ordered 3 pasta dishes which were great. I personally recommend the originally Italian pasta dish which consists of pasta, tomato sauce and basils. The scenery was nice though a bit hot according to the season in Thailand. The restrooms are clean and spacious. The house is spacious too and very well decorated. The only con I can think of is that some parts of the whole place are closed and you might need to ask the people there if certain paths can actually let you to the parking lot.

Arrogant and condescending staff
My wife and I have visited Vincotto and Granmonte a few times in the past. Last weekend we had some friends over and decided to show them the area and take them to places we like. However our view and feelings about this place quickly changed when we were assisted by our waiter (an older man). He was extremely arrogant and condescending, with no proper etiquette/ politeness when working with customers (We are always extremely polite and friendly with staff). In addition to this, we were told by this man not to speak about Sigha which we were discussing in a PRIVATE conversation at our table, because according to him the owners and Sigha hates each other..... My past experiences were so pleasant and the owner is really nice, but this has really put us off from visiting the restaurant again. Dear Diederik P, We are truly sorry for this bad experience you’ve had at out VinCotto restaurant. The views expressed by said staff member in no way reflect the views of our owners or the reality of our relationship with Singha. Please rest assured that the staff member in question is no longer employed at GranMonte. While we are saddened that we will lose a regular supporter in you, we of course understand the situation well. We thank you in any case for letting us know what happened via this review. Should you ever wish to have a chat with our owner Khun Visooth, he is always available at visooth [at] granmonte [dot] com, or (+66) 81 923 2007. Conversely, if this might be better in your view, please kindly let us know if and how we might get in touch with you to offer a private apology and recompense.Best Regards,The GranMonte family

I enjoyed an excellent steak at reasonable price. My wife's fried sea bass was much less impressive. The place is only a kilometer or two away from the main interchange from Highway 2, on the road to Khao Yai National Park, at Pak Chong. The atmosphere is rather simple, but the staff are friendly. They have an excellent selection of craft beers, with a few on draft. Overall, I good place for a quality straightforward meal.

Nice food and pretty views
The garden outside is very pretty, good for photo-taking. The food is yummy. Ordered grilled pork shoulder THB 240, macaroni and cheese, tomyam fried rice, fried rice with shrimp, averaging THB 250 each main course. Black (grass) jelly drink with jackfruit was THB 85. The place sells cookies and crackers which I see a lot of people buying but we didn’t get any. Worth a visit, though it was 20-30 min drive up north.

We visited here on a busy Sunday afternoon. However the atmosphere was great and service exceptional. The way the restaurant is arranged there’s always an interesting view and you’re not aware of how big the place actually is. The food was incredible. We had a burger & pasta. Both of which had top quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Probably anything you order here will be good. Reasonable prices for the quality and this area. We’ll definitely be back.

This restaurant is so huge and impressive (for Khao Yai) that any pictures and reviews of this place that I saw before coming here don't do it justice. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and even a stage outside for performances on weekend evenings. A very decent menu with plenty of choices for meat lovers and even options for non-carnivores. Food is 4/5 (skip the chicken wings) but overall this place is 5/5 and worth a visit for dinner if you're in Khao Yai for multiple nights.
