Fishing and Kayak fun

This is the perfect little place for a fun day of fishing or kayaking. They do not allow swimming and you can only have trolley motors but it's so peaceful and pretty for a kayak/canoe or if you just want to relax and fish!

Not quite finished but will be great once completed

This is a wonderful place to take the kids, have a picnic, see the Christmas lights (in season) and more.....there are walking trails and will be even better once it is all completed.

Intimate Historic Theatre

This is a very good place to go for a night out. Very small, intimate theater which makes you feel really part of the atmosphere that the actors are creating. I watched an Agatha Christie play with 8 actors, and it was very enjoyable. You can buy a glass

Cherokee County History Museum and Visitors Center

Learn about Cherokee County's past from before the time of the Cherokee Indians through the 21st century! The museum features movies, interactive iPad presentations, exhibits, and artifacts from the collections of the Cherokee County Historical Society. The museum and visitors center is located in the historic marble courthouse, where the renovated jail and courtroom are also open. The courthouse and museum are located in downtown Canton's Historic District which has numerous shops, parks and restaurants.
