Batshit crazy dive but in a totally good way!
I was hesitant to do this dive at first, as I perceived it to be an un-natural zoo-like affair. Then I dived with an Australian marine biologist who specialised in deep sea sharks and she said feedback amongst shark scientists around the world had been mostly positive about this type of dive. The sharks weren’t solely reliant on this feeding for their diet and if it helped build marine reserves and preserve fish and shark stocks in the local area, then it is a positive thing. I also had trusted friends who had loved doing the dive. So I organised the trip, and BAD were very quick and easy to communicate with, transfers to and fro my hotel worked well. When you show up at the BAD office it is a bit disconcerting as the dive shop is the only well looked after section of a hotel that is looking pretty dilapidated. However once in the dive shop it was not run-down, was organised and you were well looked after and briefed. And off we went. The two dives were just magnificent even in pretty murky choppy conditions. It is almost overwhelming how close you get to the sharks and they to you but I felt incredible confidence and trust in the dive-masters and marine biologists that took us. We saw around 35 bull sharks and a few nurse sharks as well as a riot of fish and remoras. It really should be on every diver’s bucket list when they get to Fiji.

Beautiful float with great guides
This was a great day trip. I had them pick me up from Nadi: it was early, so I took a little nap, and then I was the only one in the van for most of the drive! I sadly can't remember the name of who picked me up, but we had a great conversation - I learned so much on the van ride! The van stops at Baravi Handicrafts for a pit stop and it was the best gift shop I was in throughout my Fiji stay - so if you like something there, get it! We transferred from our van to a truck to take us to the river. Moses was our guide at this point and he was great. Once we got to the river, you get assigned to your boat and walk down to the drop in. Abraham was our river guide now and he was also great! He constantly told us stories about Fiji, the people, rafting, and even told some jokes. The whole staff was wonderful - you could tell they were all having a good time (Moses even pulled me in the water in a calm spot lol). The whitewater rafting was pretty mellow, but that doesn't mean it wasn't fun! It is in a beautiful river and it's so green. The lunch was way better than I was anticipating with some of the best pineapple I've ever had. It was a nice break before the second half of the trip. I definitely recommend this trip. I learned a lot and enjoyed every minute of it. Bring a water bottle and sunscreen! I burned the tops of my knees even with reapplying. :-(

A must do if staying in Pacific Harbour
We thoroughly enjoyed our day visiting Yanuca Island. The time did seem to fly. It was a comfortable ride even though the ocean was quite rough but it's a really good boat. Really friendly crew onboard who learned everyone's names (and gave us a few new ones). Snorkelling was great followed by a fun-fact interactive lesson and tasting on coconuts. A friendly game of volleyball or free time followed then we were served a delicious lunch. More free time to SUP or Kayak or snorkel (one thing I can say guys... new SUP board is needed) then it was back on the boat. Highly recommend

Zip Lining and Cave visit
This was the best zip Lining adventure. Our guides Ben, Mike and Zack were excellent. They started with basic instructions which made it much easier to control then with previous experiences especially with a fear of heights. The trip up was about 1400 meters with incredible views. They took our phones and cameras and took great photos and videos the entire trip. At the end their staff cooked a tasty local hot lunch.
