Narrow beach but pleasant enough!

Tolo's beach is so narrow in places you would struggle to place a sun lounger on it and face the sea. It gets wider at one end of town (as you enter) and seems to be sandier there too. But there plenty of beachside cafes and none seemed to be expensive.

One day cruises to the islands of Hydra and Spetses, Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonnisos with our ships M/V Mantalena, Alkyonis, Venus

Excellent day out, highly recommended!

We took the day trip aboard the MS Mantalena from Tolo to Hydra and Spetses. The cruise was great, with plenty of choice of seating: Open top deck, covered open air decks, or a large air- conditioned lounge with a bar for hot and cold drinks and snacks. Setting off around 08:45, the first leg of the cruise from Tolo to Hydra take about 2:45 arriving in Hydra at approximately 11:30. Hydra is a stunning! A small but busy harbour, with huge array of cafés and shops set in a maze of small streets and passages, all traffic free as no motor vehicles are permitted on the island. There are swimming locations close to the marina if exploring gets too much! There is plenty of time for an explore of the town, lunch and a quick swim to cool off before heading back to the boat and departing to Spetses at around 14:15.The short cruise to Spetses takes about 1 hour, arriving at 15:15. Spetses is much smaller and sleepy in comparison with Hydra, with less visitors and with lovely pebble beaches for swimming, or a wide choice of shops, cafés and ice-creams parlours. We chose the Ice-Cream and swimming over shopping this time.Departing from Spetses around 15:15 the last leg of the cruise arrives back in Tolo at approximately 19:15 in the evening.Lily at the Pegasus office in Tolo is especially helpful and a credit to the company. We are happy you enjoyed our cruise and we thank you for your comments. Making our customers happy is what gives us the energy and the motivation to try and become even better! Hope to see you again!
