Top notch Columbia River Walk

Start you walk in east Trail cross the new walking suspension bridge , through town and return across highway bridge . Nice leisure 1 hr walk . Highly recommended to do in Trail.

Columbia Gardens Vineyard & Winery

Small commercial family owned winery with a beautiful rustic chick onsite Guesthouse. This is the only winery in this area and one the the whole community is proud of. We are proud of our multiple award winning wines and love sharing tastings and knowledge with visitors. The Grape Escape Guesthouse is perfect to stay overnight or for a eventst venue. The most romantic wedding venue in the Kootenay! We offer tours by appointment. Open Tuesday -Sunday 10am - 4pm

Been there before in the summer - fall is nice too!

I was here once many years ago. This time there are new owners. There will soon be a bed and breakfast there that I toured - it looks very quaint! They were preparing for a wedding near the vineyard - I think this would be a beautiful spot for one. There

This place helps you learn about Teck and what they do for Trail and around the world. If you get there on a weekday at 10a, I think, you can take a tour of Teck.Plus, it is also a nice place to pick up pamphlets about the area do you can give to friends/

hidden little park

spots are not very big or very well maintained but you can be right at the Rivers edge with a great views so what more could you ask for.

Little League Baseball dynasties

It is amazing how Trail has dominated Little League Baseball over the years. This small BC town has pictures of each of the teams that have not only won provincials but won Canada and moved on to the world championships in Williamsport.

While it is your one stop shop for any type of athlete, staff friendliness vary.

I have mixed reviews about this place. It is a "cool" place, good parking, and most staff are eager to order anything if they don't have it but sometimes I walk out of there frustrated because of staff friendliness. Some would bend over backwards to help

A bus service between Kelowna and cities in the Kootenays

Wanted to travel by bus to see the scenery, not as easy to do as I thought. Greyhound stopped service in Western Canada. Some entrepreneurs have jumped in. Silvercity Stagelines/fritztravels.com is one. The owner Fritz runs daily(not on Saturdays though)
