Interesting visit, but forget the bar!
Worth visiting for sure if you like art. Mostly from the sixties and photographs of mining communities. Liked the jute bag room. Gardens pleasant but nothing to rave about, but then i’m English! Has to be said that water shortage hasn’t helped the greener

Wednesday evenings we have live music and a great atmosphere as well as amazing food vendors to choose from. Grab a bite and /or a craft beer and enjoy the live entertainment! Saturdays are a perfect place to grab breakfast, do some shopping for the week and drink a nice craft beer afterwards. Great Wednesday late afternoon and Saturday market
This is a great market mainly specializing in eclectic food and ingredients. Nice wine and beer on sale. Lots of foodie entrepreneurs selling their products from breads to biltong and everything else between ... We visit this market whenever in the area.

Good for children to burn off energy in a healthy way
This venue offers good old-fashioned physical activity for youngsters (free of electronic games), in booked hour long slots. It is safe, undercover and the adults can enjoy a light coffee and meal in the adjoining restaurant. A bit expensive to get a slot

Wherever shall I go......
Excellent for a family braai in the outdoors. With extra security the forest is good for families with kids as an educational tool. Great outdoor bonding experience with family and friends. The entry fee and small price to pay for the pleasure..........

Up close & personal
We did the "Private Full Day Peninsula Tour". Our guides name was Suleiman. He was amazing! Dress for comfort & in walking shoes. Bring a camera, you don't want to miss anything. My favorite activity was visiting the Penguins. Suleiman was extremely pleasant & knowledgeable. When we got to the Cape of Good Hope there was a lot of confusion with other tourist about taking photographs, but Suleiman got everyone organized & made sure we got the perfect shot.
