Schrecklicher Kundenservice! ...which customer service?
There were 7 of us. I only wanted to order a small portion. I was told that I couldn't! People are individuals and should be treated this way. The manager/owner is not only inflexible and rude with no customer service skills he is also terrible at Maths as he lost about £200 income not to serve me with a "Vorspeise". (first course). Please don't expect any flexibility as here the Manager is the number 1 and not the customer! We left and went to the Block House in Karl-Marx-Allee and had a super friendly service with delicious food and I was able to choose what I wanted from the menu without being made feel inadequate. Steakhouse Marzahn - Thank you for spoiling my last day in my holidays!!! Never again Steakhouse Marzahn!

A cozy city get-away
Café Lehmsofa is very cozy place in a very rural-like neighbourhood of Berlin. They serve delicious Canadian cake as well as savoury food. Slightly pricy but worth every penny.

We go there once or twice a year to eat a pizza. The pizza is alright but nothing special.I like the pizza with Gorgonzola and spinach - but they should make it with fresh spinach - not with frozen one.The espresso there I can surely not recommend. :-(

To echo other reviewers the views are awesome! With that said, it's not the most interesting part of Berlin to look at but sitting right on the floor to ceiling windows was so much fun. I recommend going when it's still light out so you can watch the sunset. The food was really good & I have incredibly high standard. I wouldn't go so far as to say the food couldn't be improved upon but overall it was very creative & delicious. The Bad: 1. Bit heavy handed with the salt. I like my food very well seasoned but a couple bites were just WAY too salty. 2. Carrot cake was too deconstructed for my taste in that it didn't really resemble a cake at all. I would skip desert and eat more of the vegetable entrees, they really stood out.3. Wine list is weird as it's primarily all from Eastern Europe which isn't really what you think of when you think of fine wine. Thus, I wouldn't pay for the wine pairing unless $$ is no object.4. They charge $10/bottle of water. To me that is just totally ridiculous. 5. The cod was overcooked in my opinion. THE GOOD: 1. The bread & butter is amazing2. The vegetables were seasonal, local & beautifully prepared3. The langoustine was ridiculously tasty4. The steamed egg dish is also phenomenal, really interesting textures- but it works. 5. Appreciated that they incorporated small bites that were not part of the tasting menu to add elements of surprise throughout the meal. Ambiance was really lovely and relaxing and the wait staff was excellent. By far the best service I have had in Berlin. Overall highly recommend. You will drop a fair bit of money but compared to fine dining in NY it's a steal.
