A small restaurant in an old "maison de maîtres" in the small village called Laroque des Albères
A very quiet and lovely little restaurant, nicely settled in the garden of this old house " de caractère".The cooking is absolutely delicious with delicate and innovating flavours and the people est plein d'attentions et de sourires enjoues.Bravissimo.

Best risotto I've ever had!
We have eaten many times at Les Enfants Terribles and are always delighted- lovely atmosphere, very friendly service and delicious food. The vegetarian risotto in particular blew me away last time I visited. Can highly recommend the chocolate mousse too! Can't wait to go back.

Standard still high.
Well, given that this was our 3rd visit in the last seven weeks, I think says it all.The food and wine, as always, was excellent, the ability to eat ‘al fresco’ this time of year was a big plus while the service as always was efficient and friendly. You have to give massive credit to Helene and Dimitri for keeping the restaurant up there with the best in the area. One slight criticism however ( forgive me Helene and Dimitri). I think the menu should change more often than it is especially given the choice is not extensive but, hey, it will not stop us going again when next in Sorède.

We stopped here for lunch whilst staying in the area. We ate outside under the shade of trees on a very hot day. The menu was varied and our meal was tasty and filling. There was a very good atmosphere and we enjoyed the experience.

Run by an Irish & English couple and their Bi-lingual family, Cafe Des Artistes is a pleasant relaxing place to have breakfast lunch or Dinner, either inside or al fresco. We had lunch, 2 mains, 1 salad 1 beer & 1 glass of rose and were very pleased with the quality qualities price (€46) & service. It was frequented by locals & visitors alike and outperformed its neighboring in terms of numbers by some margin. It’s a good place to watch Rugby Union & GAA too.

Fine food, good service, fine decor.
This little restaurant in St. Andre is a little gem in a region that does not have very good restaurants outside Perpignan. Too many restaurants where industrial food is warmed up and served at really high prices. This one though is different. The food is well prepared and both simple and inventive at the same time. Perfectly cooked fresh fish locally caught (the coast is near) , fine chicken and beef, (not the type you find at the supermarket), vegetables al dente etc. the service is unobtrusive and prompt. In the kitchen a chef (female) that exercises a perfectly mastered cuisine, obviously a schooled chef. I have eaten there a Friday night together with four other friends. All enjoyed their meal, the creme catalane with caramelized artichauts was very good like the rest of the food. Wine list with local wines. I look forward to the warm weather when one can eat in the lovely little garden..

A Hidden Gem
Whether your staying in Sorede or within travelling distance, this hidden gem has to be on your "to-do" list. Fantastic service, with a detailed explanation of each dish on the menu and amazing food, especially the deserts. The couple running the business had time to come to our table and chat, which is always a nice touch.I cannot recommend eating at the Restaurant Ma Maison enough. Enjoy

We were staying in Sorede for a fortnight and on lazy pool days we didn't fancy driving anywhere for dinner (and the local restaurants didn't allow dogs) so we in fact visited twice for takeaway. Pizzas come in small or grande sizes (approx 9 or 12 inch) and, are both generously and evenly topped, with an extensive menu. They are made fresh to order but only take about five minutes. There are four tables (2x 2s and 2x 4s) but they are outside. Staff friendly, pizza delicious, and a selection of alcoholic drinks and desserts also available.
