天草ありあけタコ街道♪

道の駅ついでに立ち寄られてもいいとおもいます。天草はたこも有名だとはしりませんでしたが、インパクトあるタコがおりますので、時間があれば立ち寄られてみてもよいと思います。

走るより見た方が美しい橋

この橋は長くてループしているのでゆっくり走るために混雑していない時を狙って来てみました。気持ちいいし眺めてもきれいでカッコいい。海・空の青と隣の赤い橋とのコントラストが美しいです。

Stunning secluded beach

This is beach is really out of the way and a little bit of a trek to get to, but it's such a beautiful spot with not many people frequenting it. One of those rare out-there places that are a must-see if you like off-the-beaten track things.

大江天主堂とあわせて見学したい!

 百亜の外観が美しい大江天守堂のすぐ近くにある天草地方のキリシタンに関わる品々を展示した資料館です。  多くの展示品からは、江戸時代のキリシタン禁教令のもと、幕府による厳しい監視と弾圧に耐えながら信仰を守り続けた当時の人々の熱い信仰心が見る者に伝わってきます。 特に興味を引いたのが民家の屋根裏部屋のような所で人目を避けながら祈りをささげていたという「かくれ部屋」です。 実物大の模型と祈りの声が再現されているのですが、洞窟などではなく民家の屋根裏でひっそりとこのように信仰がなされていた史実には驚きました。

牛深への30分の船旅

長島町蔵之本から天草牛深まで30分の船旅でした。車での移動でしたが、出水駅からフェリーの時刻にあわせてバスの運行があるようでした。内海のせいもあると思いますが静かな船旅でした。午前中の出航30分ほど前に蔵之本に着いて前から4台目でした。その後車の数も増えてきて、大型バスも2台来ました。大型車以外は予約は受け付けていないようなので後の時間が決まっているときは、早めに来たほうがよさそうです。
