Fantastic views on a perfect day
This hike was recommended to us before we left the UK as being superior to the easier Wineglass Bay lookout track. In terms of elevation gain it is only a moderate hill walk but there is some steady scrambling to be done over rough granite boulders which

Celebrating our wedding anniversary around Coles Bay, the kayak paddle was lovely. We loved the tranquility, the evening light. We were fortunate to have a still evening so the water was still. It was not at all difficult - first time for me. The surrounding water is clear and pristine. The only issue is the timing: Cafes and restaurants in Coles Bay and nearby villages close at 8pm. The tour finishes at 7:30pm and one is a bit wet & sandy. No warnings provided we may miss dinner. If tour had started at 4pm we may have had a chance. Thankfully we are a well nourished pair so were able to survive until breakfast.
