Lee's Summit is a city located within the counties of Jackson (primarily) and Cass in the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2010 census its population was about 91,364, making it the sixth-largest city in both the state and in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. In 2006, CNN/Money and Money magazine ranked Lee's Summit 44th on its list of the "100 Best Cities to Live in the United States." That ranking improved to 27th on the 2010 list.

The Lee's Summit History Museum is supported by the Lee's Summit Historical Society who is dedicated to preserving the community's rich cultural heritage. View artifacts from: founder William B. Howard's family, Cole Younger, jazz musician Pat Metheny's family, along with displays on area farms and businesses. Admission and tours are free, although we greatly appreciate any donations. Our hours of operation are 10:00am-2:00pm Thurs-Fri and 10:00-4:00pm Sat.

A cozy beer place

A small but cozy new craft beer place in a nice downtown area. The beer sampler flight was varied and tasty but the offerings were limited, this being a new place. The staff was friendly in explaining the available beers. A place worth stopping by.
