Interesting for history

I would not drive to Putre just to see this (or any other) church. The drive is nice, the city cute, and the restaurants serve llama. Nice for folks like me who will try anything, but the meat is tough and dry. I suggest something else.

Great Tour of the Desert and Altiplano

Mayuru Tour far exceeded our expectations, introducing us to the unforgettable landscapes around San Pedro de Atacama and in the Chilean Altiplano. Our guides were superb--translator/guide Maggie and driver/guide Mario in the Altiplano, guides Felipe and Mauricio in San Pedro. They all introduced us to places we would never have encountered on our own. Highest recommendation to Mayuru Tour. They know the territory. With them, we got a real sense of what must be some of the most extraordinary places on earth.

Great tour of North Chile!

I travelled with a small group in North Chile on Noovember 2015. We went from Iquique to Arica, passing throught the highlands, Putre and Azapa Valley. Everything was really great! Gabriel (the manager) provided for us car, driver, fuel, accomodation and all meals (included pic nic!!) , an also a good chilean Wine! Excellent driver, Louis, not only a driver but a very experienced guide and a friend. IN Putre we stayed in the nice smal hotel managed by Gabriel's wife, that welcomed us very nicely. I really would like to go back and travel with them! Hi Eli ! Thank you for the extremely relevant comments and views you have expressed about this report.Gets his hug, Daniel Carrasco
