Stayed this hotel for visiting their famous garden, we got unlimited free entry of the garden during the stay. A bit disappointed with the garden, probably not visited at a right time. Helpful staff speaking good English. My room is small decorated in Jap

A very very, very old tree

The shrine is nice and is unusually white instead of the black and orange that I have grown accustom to. If you want to see the very very old tree (who wouldn't?) Go towards the shrine and head to the left. There are signs and a path. Follow it a little w

武雄鍋島の菩提寺

武雄鍋島の菩提寺とパンフレットで知り行ってみました。曹洞宗のお寺です。2月中旬でしたので、梅もまだでしたが、まだまだ蕾の桜の木のトンネルをくぐると、石門には28代鍋島茂義が15歳か16歳に書いた西海禅林の文字がくっきりと残っていました。鍋島家のお墓は左の山沿い奥にあり、枯葉でなかなか行き難くなっています、また、春の桜の時期に訪れてみたいです。

団体様いらっしゃい

国道34号沿いにある大型土産物屋です。先日2泊3日嬉野武雄方面の旅を終え、今から高速に乗って久留米に帰るぞという状況で立ち寄りました。ある程度想像はしていましたが、完全に団体様御用達の店。観光バスで乗り付けて「○○分後には出発します」みたいなツアー客でごった返していましたね。当然専用駐車場には観光バスが多数客待ち中。正面玄関入ってすぐの右側には観光案内所もあったので、旅を始める前、或いは旅の途中で立ち寄る人にも便利。

Keisyu-En is a Japanese Chisen-Kaiyushiki-teien style(free flowing-style designed around a big pond) Garden designed by Kinsaku Nakane in 1979. It uses the natural scenery of Symbolic and Beautiful Rock Mountain of Takeo City, Mifuneyama. The garden has 2.44 acres that provide beautiful and magnificent scenery. The garden landscapes vary according to the seasons, depending on season. And they are Pleasing to the eyes all year round.
