Fascinating waterfall tourist friendly.

In the south west of Norway, north of Stavanger (on the other side of the fjord, north east of Haugesund, actually), you find this waterfall. On your way from the main road (E134) to this waterfall you also passes an other waterfall I don't remember the n

Informative and friendly

Knowledgeable staff gave good suggestions, although the options are limited in Sauda. Ask for the canoes in the small lake (150 kroner for a day), worth doing and a unique experience. Also good for kids (that can swim).

Et must i Sauda

Industrial Workers Museum

In Haakonsgate 51-53 Ryfylkemuseet has established an industrial worker’s museum. The four-family house has an apartment furnished in 1920-s style to reflect the style from when the house was newly built, and another one which style dates to the 1960s. The apartments show what it was like to live in a worker`s apartment. The other ground floor-apartment houses the exhibition «Under the smoke» showing how it was to be an industrial worker, the factory and the life in Åbøbyen.
