Extensive menu choices
The occasion was to acknowledge the birthday of a friend who had previously been to this restaurant and was enthusiastic about returning. I enjoy well cooked Indian food and the restaurant had received some glowing reviews so I booked a table. The restaurant is in a suburban setting with functional decor. It is clean and the staff was welcoming. There is some outside seating - we chose to dine indoors. One would find it difficult to say that there was nothing on the menu that could be satisfactory. The menu is extensive and our problem was making a final choice. The restaurant was flexible in that the naan which I particularly like was not on the menu and they were obliging in that, without hesitation, they made a peshwari naan. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Choices were eventually made after much discussion and orders were taken - we waited with high expectations. When one writes a review, embedded in it is a comparison with other restaurants of a similar cuisine where one has been. While the food at Lemon Chillies was pleasant enough it was, unfortunately, not outstanding as some reviews seem to have indicated. It would be fair to say that my friend enjoyed the meal more than I did, so the birthday experience was, therefore, successful.

TASTIEST RAMEN KINDEST STAFF
the ramen here was soo tasty its unbelivably me and most of my family ordered a number 1 ramen as this was the safest choice by them and it was great you could really taste the broth mixing with the noodles and pork and the even gave us all another bowl of noodles for free after, though im not sure if this happens all the time or on special occasions.

What a gem...this quaint restaurant will not fail to delight your taste buds...we have lunched here on different occasions, with different groups of people and no one has been disappointed, in fact everyone has made comment on how fresh and tasty the food was and how enjoyable their experience at Little Red Dumpling was...and I totally agree.

Surprising French gem in the middle of an Asian restaurant complex
Surprisingly good traditional French dishes, particularly given the reasonable prices. Surprising to find anything French at all in the middle of this Asian restaurant complex. The restaurant itself was also packed with Asian customers when we visited. Note that the menu is available on Zomato, but there is also a daily blackboard of specials. A decent wine list without being great. Nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks. We experienced pleasant and prompt service, but I can understand why other reviewers may have experienced delays, given how busy this place gets. The inside of the restaurant is a bit bare, but quite spacious and attractive, with some French prints. The outdoors seating is very close to car parking, so probably not as pleasant, but a lot of people were outside when we visited. This place gets very busy, so I recommend a reservation. Also worthwhile trying to beat the crowds by going early if you can. Another tip: order all your courses at the beginning, rather than waiting until you have finished a course and then ordering the next one. There is construction work going on in Market Square at the moment and very limited parking, so it will probably be necessary to park in a side street. Allow an extra 10 minutes to walk from wherever you have to park.

Delicious Malaysian Street Food!
This is our go to place for Malaysian cuisine on the south side now. If you feel like some Asian street food, this is the place to be.Their Penang Kuey Teow is one of the best Kuey Teow I've had. You can choose how spicy you want the dish to be, which is really important. I always order mine as medium hot, as I think this gives the noodles enough kick while not being overpoweringly hot to the point that you can't taste any other flavour. One of the best things I love about their kuey teow is the temperature they serve it in. Every time we eat there it's always really hot, as if you are eating off the wok. You can also tell from the fragrance and taste that the food was fried at a hot enough temperature. While everything is served hot, nothing ever tastes overcooked. Bean sprouts are always crispy. Noodles never stick together. They really know how to do their stir-frys! Another dish I also like to order (mostly in the evenings or on a cool day) is their Penang Har Mee, which is prawn noodle soup. The broth is full of flavour and together with the noodles is the ultimate comfort food in winter. If you love prawn, you will enjoy this.Their roti is also something I'd recommend if you like Malaysian curry. However, it may not be filling enough for some as the serving size is not that big. The curry sauce is delicious and if you have some leftover, they go really well with any leftover rice as a second meal lolCounter service. Alfresco dining (street food). The only inconvenience with this place is they only take cash (like a lot of Asian restaurants here). So make sure you have enough cash before you visit.

Dinner with the hubby ❤️
This restaurant is an absolute nightmare to find. Took over half an hour to find parking then 10 minutes of walking around before finally finding it. Kingsfood is a small little restaurant with seating both inside and outside. The menu is great with many options to choose from. After placing our order we were surprised when each dish was served separately and not together. All the meat was served before the rice which is odd. No alcohol served on the premises. Overall the prices were reasonable, food was nice and was able to take away food that was uneaten. Hi reviews6169, thank you for the review on your experience at Kingsfood Sunnybank. We apologise for the location inconvenience. It is very usual that the rice came after the meat - I have passed your feedback onto our owner. We will work on improving the dining experience. If there’s any other feedback you would like us to know, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected] . Thank you very much.

Crowd Friendly Carnivorous Soul Food
Been here a few times and what really impresses is the delivery of consistency in terms of quality, taste and service. Papa Joes is also crowd friendly which is great when you have a horde to feed. The BBQ ribs are a signature dish here that are the best I've had anywhere - make sure that you pre-order this as it takes about 20min to prepare but it's a must have that will even convert those who are not big on ribs. The Pizzas and chicken wings are also great with an excellent gourmet range - the Mama Africa Pizza is our favourite. Finish off with a well made coffee and the chocolate soufflé , the quality runs consistently from starters to Dessert. We'll be back!!

A Tasty Indonesian experience
Shalom's specialty are their various sambals (their own made chilly sauces) which are at various levels of heat. If you love really hot...and I mean REALLY hot..then go for the Shalom sauce!Shalom's dishes are simple...rice or noodle dishes with chicken, beef or fish. I personally love the grilled chicken and rice with Shalom sauce. They also have some entree options and some good ol' Indonesian desserts and drinks.Friendly service and tasty Indonesian street food. Love the place...go try it out!

Way back when, when I started travelling I was told, "always eat where the locals eat"
Ngon va thom (delicious and flavoursome - in Vietnamese). We went as a family group (17 spanning all age groups - the elderly, middle aged, young couples and grand children). They catered for all needs, without ripping us off. They offer juices and water, or else you can BYO and not be charged corkage.Re "always eat where the locals eat" - there were quite a few people of Asian/Vietnamese ethnicity there, and I am sure they have been there quite often. I told the proprietor that I would be back. As far as I am concerned the meal was the real deal.
