Good but is place to improve

Rated as nr 1 taverna, is a pleasant place with good food and a variety of good local wines. Also friendly staff tries to give you some suggestions for your choice. The wine list could be improved , and also the side dishes options. It is noisy in weekend.

Excellent family-owned restaurant on the beach

My kids and I couldn’t get enough of this place! We ate here every day of our vacation and thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The mussels in white wine were hands down the best I’d ever had, the grilled octopus was outstanding, and the mousaka was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Save room for dessert — ice creams, chocolate cake, crepes and kaitifi (I’m spelling this wrong, I’m sure, but I know it’s close!) are worth saving room for. The owners are super friendly and welcoming, and the decor is lovely. My kids really enjoyed the sand toys out front, too. The kids meals were also really good — chicken fingers with a sweet mustard sauce and the hand cut fries were their favorite. I liked the food so much, I even came down for breakfast one morning and had some fantastic poached eggs with toast and avocado. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Freddos and cocktails. This place is a real treasure. I can’t wait to come back next summer!

San Antonio Beach Restaurant

Very exquisite restaurant

The service was 10+. The location is nice, right on the beach, we went late in the night, but probably is a nice view during the hall day. We were attended with a starter from there part(is a common thing on the island that the restaurant gives you a bottle of water and a dessert from there part). We order a local meal with beef meat and a portion of stuffed calamar, but first we had some zucchini chips, tzatziki and pita. Everything was well made.

Really nice fish tavern

Best tavern we've been to, in a couple of years of Thasos, well worth the place 1th on Trip Advisor. We had fresh whole fish, shrimps, mussels, salad and appetizer. All were perfect, prices are reasonable, next to the sea, highly recommended. Service was fast and very friendly, family owned and served.

Fantastic meal on 2 occasions! Friendly staff and excellent service too.

This restaurant has got it just right and this is evidenced by the full tables each time we visited! Not only is their food and service excellent, the prices are extremely good value for quality too. We ate here on two evenings. The mixed gill was succulent and delicious and very filling. Their oven potatoes are really tasty. The red mullet fish were really good (these come as lots of small fish). My husband enjoyed the (whole) fried squid. Both the house red and white wines were nice and well priced. We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Nice place, nice food

This is a nice place and the service is very good.Granted you pay a bit more than you do in some other places in the same area but it's quite nice.I was surprised that they charge you for bread here. I have not seen this anywhere else in Potos. With the prices they charge you would think they could give you a bit of bread!!The food was decent but the wine really let the meal down. It was grim. I guess I should have known - you never see Greek wine outside of Greece for good reason!

Great food and staff

This place is definitely a cut above. It has an excellent interior, with a great ambience and a menu which doesn't disappoint. The seafood spring rolls were some of the best starters we've ever had, and the very classy take on lamb gouvetsi was amazing. It also had the most comprehensive wine list that we'd encountered in Thassos. We couldn't resist going back the next night, and the food was just as good. Posh but without being pretentious or overly pricey.

Excelent service, fresh sea food

Excellent service, very fresh fish and seafood. We tried different starters. I recommend eggăplant salad, it was really fresh, cheese with honey and sesame was great also. For main course sea bass was perfectly cooked. My friends tried the 2 persons fish plate. They haven't finished it because they expected a smaller plate and it was huge but also delicious. The waiter was really friendly and warm, he wanted to make us happy, thumbs up for him. We stayed outside because it was a really warm and beautiful day.
