Out Of The Way "Gem"
We were driving in Playa Negra......a cute little town but not too many restaurants when we came upon Villa Deveena! This restaurant had an incredible array of French and European entrees! Incredible food, waitstaff and atmosphere. We had a wonderful lunch of Caesar salad with shrimp and lobster salad and can't wait to visit again for dinner! For fine dining this restaurant is it...…..don't miss it.

We just had our fifth visit to this location. Everything at this location is fresh and homemade. All vegetables and fruits used are organic. There is a new hot sauce this year, mango, and it is fabulous. The owner is friendly and gracious. You haven’t had a smoothie until you have had one at Jalapeno’s!!!!

Catered Meals while on vacation!!
We recently rented a home and had Jen cater in 3 meals along with some snacks and desert items! So grateful we choose this route! The food was delicious and worth the price - especially given the meals were delivered right to our kitchen! Lots of items to choose from, we had a group of 8 people and everyone was happy! No risk at all working with Jen, would highly recommend! Thanks so much for leaving a review, I appreciate it!

Lovely dinner at Mundo Milo in Junquillal!
The charming Mundo Milo is tucked 1 minute up a sleepy side road just as you approach Junquillal Beach. The setting is lovely, with candle-lit tables surrounded by tropical vegetation. We had white fish with coconut curry and mixed seafood pasta. Both were excellent. The service was gracious and the prices reasonable. We would definitely recommend Mundo Milo and hope to return soon.

Still the Best in Junquillal
Just returned from Junquillal and had the pleasure of eating at Lochito's 3 times during our two week stay. Lochito's is hands down the best restaurant in Junquillal which is saying something because all the restaurants are great. Their seafood offerings are tremendous, there salads and vegetable pairing are fresh, crisp and incredibly flavorful. I've reviewed Lochito's before and nothing has changed. Great open air atmosphere, clean, wonderful staff, great food, cold beverages and great prices. Two entrees, two glasses of wine each and a bill of around $40. If you are in Junquillal simply go here often. We would have eaten here more but were intent on venturing out to other restaurants(and weren't disappointed) but at the end of the day Lochito's is still our favorite for seafood as well as their beef and chicken offerings. Can't wait to go back!!!!

Great food and prices for the adventurous that want to try the energizing peruvian ceviche or for the most conservative that want a fine Tuna steak or a good hamburguer. Open for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Surf videos, bar and great music.

Expensive for what you get
My wife and I had Caesar salads that came with chicken fingers. They were pretty good, with the chicken being particularly tasty. However, our kids, who ordered off the kid's menu, ended up costing us more than our meals. Even the soft drinks were expensive. We probably won't return because of the prices but the food was good.

A firework for taste and senses
It was an amazing experience. Nadia and Noam are the perfect hosts. They created a extraordinary atmosphere. I felt very welcome. The food is exquisite. All of the seven courses were different and rich in taste and flavour. A firework for taste and senses. The surrondings are marvelous lying in the middle of the jungle. I had a really great time and can highly recommend this place.

Loved the frozen guaro sours
Spent the day in Playa Avellanas specifically to come to lunch at Lola’s and it was well worth the 30 minute drive from our hotel in Tamarindo. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. The frozen guaro sours were the best version we had while in Costa Rica.

Surf Cafe was perfect!
The Surf Cafe is a great little restaurant for the area of Playa Junquillal. The business owner takes time to meet, greet, and serve. We ate their veggie tacos on one visit. We shared smoothies during another visit. And, the coffee was always fresh. Pura Vida is what it's all about in Playa Junguillal. Leave the stress at home. Ditch the text messaging and emails. We loved it here.
