Advised locally sourced and cooked tradition French food for a good price!
The campsite recommended this restaurant, we arrived pretty much when it opened along with several other couples. Initially minor things like the waiter forgetting to give us bread, but after ordering a steak with caramelised onions and potato sautee it went down hill. The best part of the meal were the potatoes, it certainly appeared to be onion chutney on one of the fattiest pieces of steak I have ever had in my life, really disappointed and could not eat it. We also had an mushroom omelette which was good to be fair.Service was also slow - would not return.

Decent regional food overlooking the river
Expecting a substantial dinner, which we had later elsewhere, we were looking for a pleasant lunch overlooking the Dordogne. La Terrasse des chateaux provides this well. The service was pleasant the wine reasonably priced the view down to the river delightful and my food, a delicious cassoulet (so good I ate more than should bearing our forthcoming dinner in mind). The road alongside is a little busy but then it is along the valley so no choice, The town is delightful

Delicious and memorable food, all locally sourced
Despite initially thinking that we may have arrived at the wrong place (it's a bit quirky!), we settled in and had an exquisite meal at Lo Gorissado. Each course was a delight, delicately prepared and the home-grown vegetables were particularly delicious. We had an excellent meal - the best of our 10 day trip - and would highly recommend visiting the restaurant. Quite surreal and excellent value.

Lovely setting, lovely food and wine and friendly staff. Five dinners of simple local dishes, mostly eaten outside with plentiful wine included as part of our prearranged dining arrangements. The €29.50 menu of the day for other diners looked excellent and varied.Well worth the drive to find its rural location.

Chez tom pizza is really a grat stop. It is vegetarian friendly with salads and some pizzas. Ice cream and calzones are also availablle here. I had a salad with onion, chevre, gorgonzola, and champignons. It was fresh and dellicious. My dad had a calzone and said it was the best thing he'd had so far on his trip.

Great pit stop
Walked round the ancient town, needed a drink and popped in this place. Great location, very polite and English speaking staff and dog friendly. I had citron presse, not realising it is exactly that; freshly squeezed lemons! It comes with water and sugar but, wow, it was sooo sour. The cafe is a great place though

You won't be disappointed!
Les Prés offers a good value menu. The portions are not enormous but enough to leave the table with satisfaction. The wine card, on the other hand, is a little expensive. However, they offer a good selection of nice wines and that explains the price. It’s clear that this family restaurant is all about fresh food and a friendly service. Their excellent ‘moelleux aux noisettes’ is an original variation on the chocolate version you find everywhere else. The inside of this restaurant is not special, but offers a quiet ambience. The terrace, however, was too noisy to other taste, as it is situated alongside a busy road. All in all: a place where we dined twice and would certainly return without hesitation.
