Best restaurant at Outrigger
We ate here 3 times during our week stay at the Outrigger. The food was lovely, the service exceptional and the atmosphere was blissfully serene (no kids allowed!!). We particularly enjoyed the Kokoda (local Fijian fish specialty), the Prawn Curry, and the Snapper with Mud Crab. The staff are absolutely amazing - special kudos to Eleni who looked after us each visit. The hazelnut chocolate fondant was a bit overcooked and a bit of a disappointment. I'd really like to give IVI a 4.5 rating - much better than an average restaurant but not at the level of a michelin star restaurant. If you're an adult couple staying at the Outrigger, this is really the best choice for dinner.

The thin crust pizza we had been craving !
A wonderful experience overlooking the ocean whilst seeing the beach, the water, the sunset while sitting on a bamboo balcony at amazing long tables seemingly constructed from a single tree trunk. We were not disappointed by our pizza - a great selection of toppings on a thin crust - YES ! Children at nearby tables enjoyed the presence of the cat and dog- a nice distraction when the inevitable boredom set in. This is a family dining experience, the cafe has limited hours and is very popular. The array of sweets/cakes in the display case was very tempting.

Delicious dinner spectacular view
I read a lot about this place on TripAdvisor before leaving Australis It’s just 5 mins drive from Tambua Sands where we are staying and close to Naviti Resort. Junior met us in the car park and escorted us inside. Although many tables were set we couldn’t go past sitting at the bench looking out at the sunset over the water. The menu board seemed the same as what I’d seen online but I’ve taken an updated pic. We had the garlic bread and salt n pepper squid which was delicious for starters. Then we had the garlic butter prawns which were magnificent and chicken chop suey The served were plentiful. It’s a BYO restaurant. If you want a hot tip take 30kg option on luggage for flight and load up with 6 bottles of wine or bubbly per person as this is allowed in Fiji Thanks for yummy dinner
