Great sites from Copenhagen to Malmo

Took the FlixBus for $15 USD round trip for a day trip and this ride has breathtaking views. You can see the wind propellers in the distance generating energy.

Nothing much to see

The least interesting of the three squares I visited in Malmö. There were a few restaurants and an uninteresting, plain fountain.

Central park

Park in the middle of the city. Very beautiful place to walk around, quite big. There is a very cool caffe that you can enjoy and next to it is an old mill that you can visit. Its also close to malmo castle and there is a caaino in the same vicinity. Real

Technology & Maritime Museum

Closed until september 2019. Crawl into a real submarine and see exhibitions with focus on technology and seafaring. If you like to experiment, the Ideas Planet is an obvious favourite, and in the Boat Playroom all children are invited to play. The Science and Maritime House is part of the Malmo Museer.

Nice exterior and interior

The church from the exterior to the interior is quite nice. Inside there’s a big open, light space with not a whole lot else going on. There’s a really interesting organ built into the wall. Quite peaceful inside if you fancy a break from the city.

Malmohus

Malmöhus Castle is Scandinavia´s oldest surviving Renaissance castle. Here Denmark´s coins were minted in the Middle Ages and here Crown Prince Frederick held wild parties in the 16th century. Prisoners were beheaded in the courtyard in the 19th century. Today Malmöhus forms part of Malmö Museer. The castle is part of Sweden´s cultural heritage and is managed by the National Property Board.
