Revelstoke Mountain Resort

Revelstoke Mountain Resort receives 30-40 feet of annual snowfall, covering 1,263 hectares (3,121 acres) of alpine bowls, steeps, glades, and groomers with a descent of 1,713 vertical meters (5,620 feet) - the most in North America. The Resort has two high-speed quad chairs, an eight-passenger gondola and a dedicated beginner slope with Magic Carpet conveyor lift. Revelstoke Mountain Resort is the only resort offering lift accessed skiing and snowboarding, Cat Skiing and Heli Skiing directly from one village base.

Great spot for advanced skiers

When the snow is good this a great mountain for serious skiers... lots of steeps, difficult chutes for advanced confident skiers... not a great place for blue groomers... needs lots of snow to cover as the gnarly terrain is intimidating without great snow

Wonderful little museum

We were amazed at the quantity and quality of the exhibits here. And the size of some of them; being really close up to the engines and coaches was quite an experience. The displays are all very good, and we loved the artwork and the model railway layout.
