One of the best walks in Auckland I have ever done! The loop track along the Mokoroa Stream was breathtaking - even got a "woooahhh" out of my boyfriend who is usually pretty blase about scenery! Tons of river crossings, muddy tracks and guessing where to

The best tour with the best tourguide . . .
We remember the great 1/2 day tour with Te Huia Tours and our great guide Michael. We enjoyed all the beautiful and spectacular points at Te Huia Tours:The wonderful Arataki Visitor Center, Michaels interesting information, the breathtaking views to rainforest and the spectacular coastline. The walk to the Karekare Falls and to the impressive Karekare Beach (we remembered the filming location for “The Piano”).The walk at the beautiful Mercer Bay Loop Track along the highest seacliffs of the region with fantastic views to Piha Beach and Karekare Beach. And at last our nice stay, enjoying an ice-cream in an easy-going atmosphere at the Piha Beach with the Lion Rock.It was the best tour with the best tour guide ever - unforgettable!Hans (77) and Heidi (69) from Germany Thank you so very much Heidi and Hans. It was an absolute pleasure to take you both on your tour ‘Karekare & Piha Beach Tour’. You only had a short stay in Auckland so we were thrilled that you choose Te Huia Tours for your tour and that you had such a memorable time. I was very impressed with both you and Hans at ages 69 and 77 walking the tracks and beaches like a couple of young bucks with no issues as all a fun relaxed trip. You are both in great shape and proved that age is no barrier to take our tours. Have a great day and all the best with the future. P.S thanks for the wonderful photos too :)
