Taverna Glyfa is a family run restaurant. Offering everyday fresh fish. Whilst eating a wonderful meal you have a view of Corfu Town, Ipsos and many more places along the coast. The taverna has a full working jetty for all the sailers that are out there.

Amazing food in beautiful location
We dined at Taverna Glyfa tonight and the food was really amazing, with fresh seafood at a reasonable price. This was the best seafood we had in Corfu so far. The service was great, with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The location is simply perfect, just a few steps away from the sea. We would definitely recommend eating here, and particularly trying the taramasalada dip and the mixed seafood platter. One small recommendation would be to change the chairs or put pillows on them as they were not very comfortable, which is a pity given the beautiful sea view and general ambience of the restaurant.

Great food with lovely views
Some very good and tasty authentic Greek cuisine along with a number of slightly different items. Something to please everyone. I had chicken in a mild creamy curry sauce with boiled rice which was absolutely delicious. The fish dishes looked outstanding. Great atmosphere that felt very traditional.

Ok, this is not one of the best restaurants in Barbati but it is welcoming and excellent prices. The fish options are good but the pizzas not your thin Italian pizzas but thick non traditional ones. If you want good value then this is your option , just go for the meat and fish choices. Thank you for your review, opinions always vary whether something is the best or not. We are very sorry but if you wanted a traditional Italian pizza then you should have gone to an Italian restaurant, we are a GREEK restaurant where traditional GREEK and CORFU dishes are our speciality, as most people, witch we thank always, admit we are very good at it. Thank you very much again and we would kindly like to advise you, next time to choose more carefully what kind of restaurant you want and what you would like to eat.

The best food we had on holiday...best fish I have EVER had!
Ended up visiting 3 times, each time trying something different from the menu and each time being delighted by the quality of cooking and food. Try the cheese balls with sesame coating for a starter...yum.The highlight has to be the sea bream. Beautifully grilled whole fish, cooked to perfection with a lovely crispy skin and so tasty. Never had fish like it (closest was 3 years ago in Minorca). Just brilliant and makes me salivate just writing about it!Portions were never the biggest, but more than enough and I would prefer quality over quantity every time. Eleni and her family deserve a huge amount of credit for working hard and always looking after their guests with a smile. And, for those with a sweet tooth, you’ll get something akin to ‘Tubbie Custard’ at the end of the meal, on the house (if you are British, you’ll probably know what that is!). Lemon flavoured on our first visit, a more aromatic version on our second...we had ice cream as a desert on our third.

Excellent seafood restaurant
Thought we’d try this newly opened Italian seafood restaurant on the beach. Very pleasant decor and tables under cover right by the beach. We were seated just as the sun was going down which made for a lovely vista. A nice touch was the Aperol Spritz welcome cocktails which set the scene for the attentive service throughout the meal. I ordered the London Spritz which was very refreshing and great value at 7 euros with premium ingredients. We were also brought complimentary small plates of anchovies. Two in our party were not seafood lovers so ordered the Gnochetti with bolognese which they loved. Seafood pasta was amazing and served at the table in the pan. Homemade spaghetti, mussels in shells, prawns, lobster and crab - gorgeous! My aunt had the prawns with brandy and lemon which arrived as three of the biggest prawns I’ve seen with full shells on (but no accompaniment so if you order this you may want to get a side dish). We all cleared our plates and order tiramisu, sorbet and chocolate sponge with Nutella. The chocolate cake was very light and a perfect end to the meal. I’m told the tiramisu and sorbet was good too. I can’t believe how good value this is - 12€ for the seafood spaghetti, 4€ for the desserts. I’m sure this restaurant will do very well here. Don’t miss out - try it now. Your happiness is our satisfaction. Thank you very much

Lovely Restaurant on Barbati Beach
We came here after walking past it on our beach day. The restaurant is a lot more stylish than traditional greek ones. We had cocktails in the bar area to start which were great and well presented. The restaurant area was really nice and looked great. The staff were very friendly and gave us advice on the menu. All the food was stunning and so good we decided to return on our last night. Unfortunately this time the service was below par with food coming late and with incorrect orders. When we asked about this the staff were quick to apologise and said it was due to being short staffed. It didn't really effect the night and we had a great time still. Would definitely recommend for a more stylish, higher end meal in Corfu.

The food here is fantastic but it's the view that makes the trip worthwhile.
Having read the reviews we drove up to Spartilas to have lunch. It was too hot to sit on the terrace on the edge of the hillside so we sat in the restaurant itself, although the view was still terrific. The fantastic freshly-baked bread set the tone for our meal. It was so irresistible that we wished we hadn't ordered starters! Fava beans were mashed and formed into a sort of pie with pork which was unusual but less than successful. However the chicken souvlaki and pasta with pesto were both excellent, as was the Greek salad.
