This is the most amazing place I've been to in McLeod in a long time. We tried their jumbo sandwich, choco and nutella pancake and the freshly brewed French press coffee. There was nothing that we didn't like. The best thing about this cafe is that everything is freshly made due to which you might have to wait a little but trust me it's all worth it. Just keep one thing in mind, their food is yum & portions are huge - so order accordingly.Must must place to be.

We had breakfast here, which was super tasty and the views around made it more enjoyable. Service is a bit laidback, but you do not mind as you are on a vacation

Amazing ambiance , with amazing deco and yum food
This place came as a highly recommended place when inquired with the locals for a really good place to have continental cuisine. When you are in Dharmsala and not pressed for time then please take out 3-4 hours with friends and family.Sit, lie down, chat, eat some good wood fire pizzas or some Israeli dishes and play some board games. The place serves one of the best wood fire pizzas and their cookies are worth trying. The owner is a Danish guy and he has partnered with a local and both of them have amazing customer centric focus.

The location made I ten times better
We came here for breakfast and had a great experience. Keep in mind that the portions a quite large though. If you come You here, be sure to sit right next to the large window. Outside, you could see the busy street with street food, woollen clothes shops and a colourful temple. The food here was really good. They had all types of traditional Tibetan food and we ended up having WAY too much Tibetan bread.

Affordable & Delicious
Went to Peace Cafe twice for breakfast & once for dinner this trip; there are varieties of food to choose from, but Tofu Sandwich is highly recommended, it’s so delicious!! The special Tenthuk (Flat noodle soup) came with Vege, Tofu & Cheese~ taste like Minestrone soup, very heartwarming on a rainy & cold evening~ The price is affordable & food are delicious, it’s almost always full during lunch & dinner time, do go early :)

We were a group of 8 with Couple of teenagers. We entered and asked for a place and the an Elderly Lady refused that they don’t have any place. But that cannot be a reason for giving 1 Star Review, the reason was her reluctance to accommodate us we asked her whether we can wait or Sit outside and she gave a very Cold reply discouraging us from waiting. We asked whether we can Split and sit at different tables, she said they won’t be able to serve on different tables. We only went there because of the reviews and everyone saying it’s a must visit place, but we were disappointed. What’s a Cafe if it’s owners are prejudiced and turn away guests. Hey there, this is the owner. The elderly lady you are referring to is one of our part-time volunteers. She is retired and sometimes helps out at the cafe out of love and care for us. I haven’t consulted her regarding your review yet but I imagine there must have been a misunderstanding. She is actually a very lovely lady but maybe you got her on the wrong spot the day you came. Please know that I am not trying to justify anything here. I want to apologise profusely for what has happened. We don’t screen anyone who come to our cafe. Moreover, we are happy and take pride in welcoming people from different walks of life. Yet, you have to understand that we don’t ask people to leave at once when they finish their meals. Hence, it sometimes comes to a longer waiting time, and people waiting for tables do lose their patience. Our cafe is small with a even smaller kitchen but we do what we do because we love it. A sorry from our end may not change much for you but we mean it and hopefully you will forgive us for this misunderstanding.
