Charming place in Dorrigo
Wow. What a stunning little place! Situated at the end of the high street opposite the RSL, Components is a charming cafe. The interior is beautiful, with lots of qauint things to purchase....excellent chilli jam btw!Service was amazing by the two owners they even had a chance to come and have a chat with me even though the cafe was busy. The chef brought my food over which was a lovely touch. The food was amazing, and even managed a slice of the beautiful homemade caramel slice! Coffee is to die for. 10/10 would visit again. I'll be back soon boys!

Great food, spectacular location, friendly staff - and all wheelchair accessible
Within the Dorrigo Rainforest Centre is a cafe called "Canopy Cafe". This cafe is fully wheelchair accessible, including good spacing between tables for sports-style wheelchairs and great views across the rainforest from the windows inside. Seating is also available outside which I recommend for wheelchair users if inside is too crowded. Plus, eating outside you can be amongst the rainforest canopy (as the cafe name suggests) with lots of birds around. It is also wheelchair accessible to enter the cafe from both outside as well as the adjoining gift shop. The food and drinks are great here and breakfast according to the menu at the time is served through to midday. Many great foods and beverages are on the menu, but my favourites are the hot chocolate (on cooler days) and smoothies (on warmer days) along with the Quiche Lorraine with chips and salad and the Orange Almond Cake with poached berries, cream and ice-cream - delicious. You could easily spend a whole day exploring this Centre and the surrounding rainforest, eating breakfast and lunch at the Canopy Cafe.

Great food -long wait
We ate at Food Angel Cafe while on a day trip to Dorrigo via Bellingen.I had seen the cafe advertised in the Tourist brochure, so headed there for lunch after visiting the Rainforest Centre just outside town. There was plenty to choose from on the menu board and there was a selection of home made cakes in the display cabinet, so we decided to share the gourmet veggie toastie and follow that by sharing the lemon poppyseed cake.We found a great table in the sunshine in the back room and sat and waited for our food to arrive. And waited. And waited.I ended up getting out my pocket noughts and crosses game to play it took that long! Now the place didn’t look busy and it was well after the lunch time rush, but it took over 35 minutes for our toastie to arrive and when it did, it wasn’t hot but was still warm. But let me say it was absolutely delicious- the pumpkin, pesto, feta, sundried tomato and rocket filling was just beautiful and the two of us wished we’d ordered one each! The cake cake with a generous serve of fresh whipped cream and was very nice as well.Staff were friendly but laid back - country style I guess. So ... if you have time on your side go there. The food is worth the wait.

3.8Morning coffee stop here today in lovely Dorrigo. It was nice sitting outside at the front. Service was efficient. A bit offhand from the older server, warm from the young barista/server. I had a long black which was exceptional. A superbly made coffee. Dark, dense and richly gorgeous.

Beautiful vistas.. Great coffee
So glad we popped in for morning tea... Awesome coffee, beautiful vistas, and lovely service.Whilst we were there Deklan was feeding Fuggles and friends (deer) in their paddock. We strolled around the beautiful grounds and inspected the accommodation as we definitely hope to return and book a holiday in this beautiful retreat. The accommodation is fresh, air conditioned, well appointed and spacious. We just think its the perfect place to unwind. Thank you Wayne for the tour and we hope to be holidaying at the retreat soon.

Stopped here for lunch on a visit to Dorrigo. 5 of us for lunch. Great selection of pies, unusually goat inckuded. Very good steak sandwich and great tasting chips. Husband particularly enjoyed his chocolate milkshake which was as good as a thick shake. Very friendly staff who have recently taken over the business. We wish them success which won't be hard with the quality of food they serve.
