A wonderful experience

We visited Amman in late February. This restaurant happened to be next door to our hotel. Being tired from our flight we took the easy option and had dinner there. What a wonderful find! The restaurant is quite large and menu very extensive. Service and food excellent. They even have a list of all the famous people who have eaten there including several members of the royal family. It is not cheap, but well worth a visit for a lovely meal.Fantastic! Thank you for letting us know you had a 5 star experience! We hope to welcome you back soon!

One of the best meals of my trip - AMAZING bread

I must admit we were EXTREMELY skeptical about this place. Just finished a fantastic visit in Jerash & our guide brought us to Green Valley. The initial impression (large restaurant filled with large tables) made us think of the many other industrial-scale tourist buffets that we previously seen & had patronized during our trip. We actually pleaded with our guide to find someplace else. He promised that it was different & encouraged us to look at the bread baking. We had seen several other bakeries, so we reluctantly went in. So glad that we did: the bread is completely different & so tasty. Cooking directly on the coals gives it a wonderful texture & flavor. We had the set bbq lunch (14 JD each). Once again we were a little wary, but were blown away by the freshness, quality, tastiness, and generosity of the portions. The mezze were just great & the bbq meats were so tasty. By far one of our best & favorite meals during our 10 day stay. We took our leftover bread for late night snacks...

Artemis won’t give you arthritis

Spécialises in serving tour groups. The buffet is not very high quality but decent enough. Drinks prices are high, and they serve imported mineral water like Vittel.

We have not been to the Ya Hala Restaurant in Jerash in several years so we were a bit apprehensive about this visit. To our astonishment the Ya Hala had improved dramatically with many new seating areas; A great new enhanced menu and most importantly the toilets have been enlarged and modernized! The ambiance and environment is so special that one does not want to leave after your great meal! The restaurant has many fountains and even one pond with 6 or 7 ducks that the kids, and adults, can feed with lettuce or left-over bread. It was so nice to see that several of the original employees were still there and their warmth and excitement in seeing us after such a long absence was heart-warming!Now most importantly both the food continues to be outstanding and very low priced and the service is exceptional. So if you find yourself in Jerash and want a solid meal I strongly suggest you try the Ya Hala restaurant, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Al-Khayyam restaruant in Jerash near the the old Roman achaeological sites is a good choice for delicious grills and reasonable prices. the fresh and delicious bread is made at the restaurant and kebab tastes good. the only problem is that a lot of flies were there in the place when I visited it last time in June, apparently due to the hot weather at that time.

Good vegetarian options

This restaurant is located just opposite the gate to the Jerash ruins visitor center and is therefore convenient after visiting the ruins under a scorching sun. I basically dislike they putting a bottle of water for you (for which you pay afterwards) but this is not the first time this happens in Jordan, so here we go. We are vegetarians and we tried four different dishes. The parsley salad was great, their dips also very tasty. I had a lemon juice with mint which was delicious. This place is huge, the waiters were amiable and the restaurant is very clean. The service was very good despite the waiter's attempt to make you order more than you need.
