Where to Eat in Mostar: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Mostar (Serbo-Croatian pronunciation: [mǒstaːr]) is a city and municipality in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Inhabited by 105,797 people, it is the most important city in the Herzegovina region, its cultural capital, and the center of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation. Mostar is situated on the Neretva River and is the fifth-largest city in the country. Mostar was named after the bridge keepers (mostari) who in the medieval times guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva. The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.

My partner and I had a very enjoyable meal. The food was fresh and tasty, the portions were large and exceptionally good value. The lady who served us gave me partner a small gift once she found out my partner was pregnant. Extremely hospitable and friendly. I would definitely return to this restaurant if I visited the area.

Great dining option
The place is crowded so booking in advance is preferable. We managed to find a table anyways. The service was really good, the waiters were dressed traditionally. The food was delicious and there was a great variety of options to choose from. The big plus was that the restaurant was accepting credit card, even though there was a lower limit.

Very filling lunch
We stopped here for lunch on our day trip to Mostar. The meat platter for 2 was enough to feed a family of 4. Good service. It would have been nice to dine in the downstairs terrace with a view of the old bridge but we couldn't eat there as it was full so we ate upstairs. Nice restaurant, I would recommend here.

Charming atmosphere, delicious food
A very nice Italian restaurant with pasta, pizzas, creative salads and more. Most meals come in two sizes, regular and small. I had a hot/cold chicken salad and tagliatelle carbonara, both very delicious. Staff was very friendly and nice. Although the terrace is very nice, August in Mostar is very hot, so I stayed indoors. I strongly recommend this restaurant! Enjoy!
