Arrogantly turned away although we called to make a reservation
My wife called Saturday to make a reservation for Sunday night. She spoke (in Italian) to a lady and was told that the restaurant was closed for dinner on Sunday. We then asked for a reservation for Monday and the lady shouted something to a guy named Francesco and took our reservation. When we arrived on Monday night - to an empty restaurant - we were immediately told that they were fully booked. When we said we had a reservation the man (who I presume was Francesco) switched to English and started asking questions:"What do you want?" - have some dinner"Where did you call?" - well, here of course"Who did you speak to?" - a lady, she didn't give her name"What language did you speak?" - ItalianHe then ended up saying "I don't think so - you must have made a mistake" .... at which point we obviously left and told him we would never be back.We live in Italy and I have never had course to write a negative review, but then again we have never be treated som rudely and arrogantly ... and then so close to home (we live in Costarainera).

Lovely place with good value for money
We rented two years ago the great houses they have (a bit in the middle of nowhere but romantic and with a kitchen you can use in common a great place for a weekend in unspoiled nature)This time we came for lunch: delicious food, would have been enough for three days, lovely owner and for 25 euros including everything a real good value for money

Came here with my bf as we saw it was the no. 1 of pizza places. What a joke? The pizza dough was almost undercooked, my bf asked for a mozzarella di bufala extra but it had a cheap supermarket’s taste! Seriously, what’s wrong with the reviews here ? For those 6 Euro I would have got 3 frozen Dr oetker pizza... so disappointed, especially as it’s no. 1! How wrong! Went to the no. 2 on the second night and it was truly good. Be aware! Ps: I’m Italian why did you write this review. first of all the pizza bufala does not cost 6 euro but 7 so you cannot have been here. Moreover how could you have been in the pizzeria number 2 if you wrote thist message at 7 o clock and pizzeria start opening at that time. third, why are writing in english if you are italian. Maybe you are a bit confused….ah ahah ah ah ah ah

Great seafood on the beach
The quality of this small restaurant by the beach is simply exceptional. Fresh raw and cooked fish, excellent pastas, great choice of desserts. Informal, friendly, with efficient and nice staff serving good seafood plates. Not expansive at all considering quality. Strongly recommended.

Authentic original food
I was taken here by an Italian friend and had one of the best meals I've ever eaten. The restaurant is situated in a picturesque hilltop village and is family run. The husband of the chef does front of house and was extremely welcoming. He explained each of the dishes to us (there were MANY!) and we drank wine made from his own vineyards. We had nine small starters to begin....served three at a time, each totally original. Many of the things I had never tasted before (one I remember was tempura of elderflowers) and all were delicious. This was followed by a tasting plate with 3 different types of pasta and then came the main course...which not all of us were able to eat (we knew there was dessert to follow!!) but those who did found delicious. The meal was incredibly cheap...about €30 a head. This is a place not to miss if you are in the area.

Amazing good, beer, wine and company!
La diligenza is one of the best bars to visit in bussana (San remo). Complimented with a spectacular view in front, it has a great selection of drinks and even home quality cooked food from Sardegna! It's a definite good time! Definitely would recommend it!
