Unfriendly, not disabled friendly and rude.
We have just walked out of this establishment and are very unhappy. My husband and I visited on a Tuesday afternoon around 2.45pm. There are steps leading up to the property making it difficult to use my wheelchair but we got in. 3 members of staff walked past us and not one even gave eye contact let alone a smile or welcome! No one welcomed us in at all. There were no menus to be seen but there was a surf board at the desk with specials on it.After sitting at a table indoors for 5 mins I went over to the counter and asked if there were any menus, the man behind the counter said yes here and gave a facial expression as if to say 'they are right in front of you iddiot' I had a look in the cake display and there were some lovely looki g cakes and biscuits so I asked if I could have the last slice of lemon drizzle put aside for after my lunch, they man was obliging and did put it on a plate and then placed it (uncovered) out of the view of the public. We decided what we were having and I went back over to order, I asked if we could keep the tab open so we could have more drinks as we were paying by card and he said yes we just need to keep your card--I thought he was kidding! Who does that these days?! It's 2019! Not only is it a huge security risk leaving your card with TOTAL STRANGERS OUT OF SIGHT I cases they copy your details down but as most are contactless there's a huge risk of fraud going on! And most banks WILL NOT refund any money taken this way as your terms and conditions state Cardholders should never let their card out of their sight, and this includes handing them over to run tabs in bars and restaurants. He was very rude about this and we decide just to leave. Crazy!

Great tasting food
This was our third venture to this lovely restaurant, but it won't be our last. We came here this time from our home which is about thirty miles by road, just to eat here as the weather was too awful to look around this quaint village (the church is worth a visit too). I had the stir fry and my wife had the liver, both meals were very tasty. Also the lady who serves table is so friendly that you are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. All in all a wonderful experience.

Good quality food
We arrived on a Sunday lunch and got a table without no problem. The restaurant was clean, tidy and spacious with a good ambience. We was in the company of our big dog Alfie who wasn’t a problem and was very welcomed by the staff. My husband and myself opted for the roast beef which came with very tasty vegetables and roasts whilst our daughter had the prawn linguine and the Oreo cheesecake which she throughly enjoyed.

We booked to go to the sushi special night but when we turned up with our tickets we were told we couldn’t come in. They had completely messed up our booking and were apparently expecting us in Sep despite us having tickets for Aug! After a 45 minute drive just for this, it was incredibly annoying, and then we had to ask for a refund and were given no other compensation. Zero customer service. Hi, further to our chat on Saturday regarding the mistake with your booking, I’ve emailed you a couple of times. If you’d like to email me back, I’m hopeful that we can reach resolution. Thanks, Sarah

Vibrant interesting Bistro with an unusually interesting menu.Appeals to young families, couples, and young people. There was a mixture of locals and holiday makers.some at high tables drinking cocktails in the bar areaWe opted for the Nasi gorging which was delicious, especially with proper Rattler Scrumpy ! Followed by chocolate brownie Ice cream Sundae. Which was truly decadent. The service was friendly and efficient.Having looked at the menu on line and finding it was dog friendly,it was a perfect choice for us and will definately return.

Really good place to eat!
We had a lovely evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the food was delicious.A great way to spend an evening with the fabulous views over the sea.Only down side was the broken loo seat in the ladies and the very full sanitary container which knocked the fifth star off I'm afraid.
