Great restaurant, with superb service and warm welcome!
My wife and i visited the restaurant this evening and what a great experience it was! The food, drink and service were excellent. The restaurant is decorated nicely and spotlessly clean, the staff are great! I had a special biryani with a madras sauce and my wife had a Tandoori Chicken Tikka Massalla with pillau rice, both meals were superb! We will definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back! It was great value for money as well, many thanks to the staff!

My hairdresser recommended this restaurant, and I am glad she did. We were lucky to get a table at short notice, and although they had what looked to be an excellent set menu, we were not that hungry so settled for two mains of green Thai curry, and coconut beef curry, with a bowl of coconut rice. It was wonderful, as good as any I have had in Thailand. The cost was very reasonable at just under £20 drinks are also reasonable with a bottle of red wine around £13. The only flaws were, there is not much parking, and we did feel a little rushed by the staff. However we will be returning for the set menu.

We have visited morels several times and always had good food and service,we visited today and it was total shambles, waited an hour for main course, when it did arrive the meat was extremely tough with no flavour, they ran out of puddings we wanted the waited another thirty minutes for coffee,I understand that the students are training however this day was not planned in any way,it was quite embarrassing as the table next to ours didn’t have any vegetables affered as the waiter forgot about it!Thank you for your comments regarding lunch on Friday 26th October. Please accept my apologies. The apple soufflé dessert choice was very popular on the day, as such we did sell out of this particular dessert which was unfortunate, however, there were two more options available. The restaurant was extremely busy on the day, the training restaurant, staffed completely by students, with tutors for guidance only, prepares all dishes from fresh ingredients on the day, as such, sometimes meals take a little longer to prepare and serve. We take all feedback to help us improve, we will use your comments to help us improve our food and service in the foreseeable future.

Was introduced to this place by I friend and was very glad I was.I've been on a Thursday 3 times now and first of all was impressed by how busy the restaurant was I've always chosen the buffet menu, as for the mid week price of £12.95 it's well worth the money. Help yourself to as much as you want, to starter's, mains and sweets. The staff are friendly and hard working. The food is constantly being replenish so it's always freshly cooked. Kingfisher is on draught and a few other beers as well.I'm sure I'll be there again over the coming weeks.

Easter family lunch
Easter lunch at the Ruperra, food was above expectations but the wait for the food and in between courses was far too long and we were really surprised that with the quality of food so good its hygiene rating is only a 2, good job I didn’t realise this before I went as I probably would have been put off. Will try again to see if service improves as I did like the food. Worth a try but guys a 2?! Really and bringing bins through the restaurant did not help! Score for food only Hi, Thanks for taking the time out to write a kind review. We cook only using 100% fresh ingredients of the highest quality from local suppliers. On some foods - lamb, chicken breast etc there can be a bit of a wait, especially in busy periods as we cook made to order. We are waiting on our hygiene score to be updated any day now with our new chef team. We look forward to seeing you again soon ! Thanks Ben, Jess & The Chef Team.

I visited with my family for my sisters birthday last week. I ordered the hunters chicken and may I say it was fabulous! The portion sizes are so generous and good value for money. The girl who came to take our order was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. I ordered a Ferrero sundae for afters and it was delicious. We had a great experience from the moment we stepped through the door to the moment we left. Friendly staff. Good portions. Lovely scenery. Cosy place. Would recommend to anyone

Friends Get together.
We were a group of 6 friends meeting up on a Saturday evening for a meal and a catch up. We have been to this restaurant before so knew it was an old railway station with part of a railway carriage incorporated into the building and a good place to have a meal with good parking and we decided to meet just after 5.30pm when it opens. We all opted for the 3 course menu at a set price with choices at each course. I had the spicy beef salad to start, fish rarebit for main course and peach melba as dessert. The main course comes either with a choice of chips, new potatoes, rice or fresh vegetables so my husband and I shared chips and vegetables. I enjoyed each of my delicious menu choices but thought the peach melba needed more ice cream. The staff are always excellent in attending to us and we always have a great time meeting up here to enjoy the food and have a catch up.
