Great People, Food & Experience
Even though this restaurant is pitched towards tourists it does a fantastic job of educating visitors about Mayan cuisine while at the same time serving delicious food. At first we thought it was a little hokey, but came to really appreciate what they were attempting to do--keep the Mayan culture alive through gastronomy and teach others about their rich heritage. Here you will get a great meal as well as a visit to a museum and garden which educates about both Mayan cuisine and culture. I highly recommend this restaurant--and would even if the food was half as good as it is. The fact that it's really great and the people who work there are fabulous make it a "must stop" on the east side of Valladolid.

Just perfect
After a travelling day it was a relaxing and enjoyable place to have dinner. The pesto noodles were delicious and I had the chance to practice my Spanish with a nice and smiling waitress. I am please to recommand this restaurant.

Hidden gem
I had heard about this place and attempted to visit a couple of times but it was on Monda and they are closed, I finally visited in March and its well worth the visit, we ordered a series of tamales with different fillings, by far the best I have had in Mexico, not greasy and overpowered with pork fat, other dishes were great as well, the place is very clean and so is the kitchen, you can tell the owner is proud of what he has done here, this is on my list of favorite restaurants to visit

The staff hustles to keep the buffet food freshly prepared and stocked; the buffet includes something for just about every appetite including vegetarians. There's a nice selection of fairly priced beer and liquor. The cenote facilities and swimming area are in very good condition and kept clean. The staff were courteous and helpful and eager to accommodate guests requests. The water was clean and the perfect temperature to soak off the heat of Chichen Itza. Nice job!Hello!Cenotes are sacred for us, not only because of their importance in our culture, but also because of the Yucatecan hot weather! It is really nice to take a swim after visiting an archeological zone, and that’s why we work hard every day to offer a nice, safe place to enjoy the wonders of nature. Great Italian gem.
The restaurant as an amazing decor and atmosphere and the staff are lovely. We tried very nice pizzas but we would have liked a menu a bit more extensive. I definitely recommend this place!

Excellent for dinner
My (15) year old and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at conato 1910. The service was great. The food very good, inventive, with ample portions. Cost was very modest. Highly recommend. We sat in the upstairs roof top. The live music being performed downstairs was piped in and it made for a festive and memorable dinner.

Left a sour taste in my mouth
Came here for lunch - sat in the lovely courtyard.The food was ok - not as great as expected but the thing that annoyed me was when the waiter counted the money in front of us when we paid and demanded to know why we hadn't left enough tip (we had just rounded up and not given a full 10%). Very rude!

Disappointing
Ate here as we just stay down the road at Meson Marques n our first choice italian Osteria was closed. Order pasta n lasagne n steak and all are disppointing. The pasta is bland and the lasagne watery n the steak was too salty and overcook at one side n medium at one side as i requested medium rare. Delicious buffet
We went to this place because it was part of our tour. I wasn’t expecting much but we were surprised how delicious the food was. Try the pozole is delicious!!! There’s an amazing selection of dishes,unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to try everything we wanted but I high recommend it.

Amazing food and drink
We stopped at this place last year during a day trip to Valladolid. It was our first taste of Yucatan food and really delicious. We came back this year and stayed in Valladolid for 2 nights while visiting Chichen Itza. Ate at El Atrio twice, both delicious. Javier was our waiter for lunch, very helpful. The cochinita pibil as well as vegetarian options are delicious. Mayan and passion fruit margaritas were refreshing and made us want more. Chocolate mousse for desert was amazing!
