Great vegetarian food at the shore
Vivo has a great, creative menu of vegetarian and lion fish offerings. My husband had a curried lion fish, I had a sauteed lion fish, and our friend had a chickpea tofu Asian style dish. Dishes were made with locally sourced ingredients. All were flavorful and delicious. The restaurant has a limited numberof tablesinside, and most on a back patio facing the ocean. The outside patio is also not that large, and not particularly fancy, but the view isall you need. Great dinner.

Authentic Italian Cuisine in a Beautiful Setting
The service was impeccable and the waiter was willing to have my partner's dish prepared with shrimp instead of several different types of seafood. I had the Spaghetti Puttanesca and it was phenom! I would definitely go back to this restaurant. The ambiance was gorgeous. We had a table right next to the water and it was very soothing. We are both particular about our Italian cuisine and Pappagallo certainly met our expectations. As an additional bonus, they have a special arrangement with certain cab drivers so that diners can get a fixed rate back to Seven Mile Beach. Just ask them to call a cab.

Visited the Boggy Sands today. From the outside it doesn’t look particularly anything special but inside its tastefully decorated, clean and pleasant. We had breakfast and it was excellent. Recommend the French toast. Service from Farah our waitress was excellent and pleasant. Prices are very very reasonable for Grand Cayman and excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Amazing late lunch.
We stopped at this upscale casual restaurant After spending time at the Turtle center for a late lunch. There is a sister restaurant located on the deck below where there’s access to snorkeling. We opted to eat upstairs and the food was mind-boggling. The fish dishes were incredibly fresh as expected with a French twist. Obviously the cracked conch marinated conch were fabulous. They have an excellent wine and drink menu. We were staying in room point but if it wasn’t so far from where we were staying I would’ve been back for dinner. We did go down below and were able to snorkel and have a few more drinks. A really nice set up

Best Restaurant on the Island
WOW!This was one of the best dining experiences ever. The waterfront venue and beautifully decorated restaurant combined with meeting Reno at the podium kick off the night and you know it's going to be a great experince....and it was.Our server ,Odella, was unforgettable . Her personality, professionalism and attentiveness are unmatched. She even gave us the recipe for my wife's sorrell martini after helping the bartender with my " in & out martini". Felt like she was a friend .Reno was great. Again an old friend ,we talked about everything from the restaurant, to food ,to the Suoer Bowl.We had the yellowtail snapper and the tuna. Unbelievable .Followed the main course with the best cheesecake in the Carribean. Thanks and good luck to all at Osetra! See you next trip.

Just plain good
We had supper here after watching the sunset across the street. It’s not fancy but a dinner it is. Good selection of food at a good price for Cayman. It’s not easy to catch unless you are looking but worth doing so.

My new favorite fish restaurant
After all the years of visiting Grand Cayman, I cant believe it took me this long to find this great FRESH fish restaurant. An unpretentious outdoor dinning space on the water, the fish is actually fresh and prepared simply without disguising the flavors with some unnecessary bad sauce. The service is prompt, prices are very affordable and the food is nice.

Okay....First night in Cayman - little uncomfortable with getting too much sun during the day. Felt it was going to be too humid to sit outside, etc.I couldn't have been more wrong. We were seated right alongside the water, just as the sun dipped below the horizon. I soft breeze kept things moving - the weather could not have been more perfect. I opted for a couple of martini's rather than some wine. The crispy octopus was outstanding - reminiscent of the similar dish at Milo's of NYC and Vegas. We wanted more.I had grilled grouper and tried all three sauces on the menu (a little extra but for to see the flavor differences). My wife had the tuna - we usually like to see that stand alone as the main element, but it was surrounded by all kinds of additional vegetables, etc. I will say - the chef has amazing skills with local vegetables - the flavors are so bright and stand tall amongst the other foods on the plate. It's a rare skill actually and we benefited. Top all that off with excellent service - greeted professionally upon arrival and our server was bright and cheery - and completely professional with a great handle of the menu and her opinions. We'd go back to Catch for sure.

We had heard great things, and they're popular, and even though it was very busy and we barely got a reservation, they treated us like VIPs. We got a great table outside on the water (recommend), the service and food were outstanding. Cayman restaurants are pricey, and this is a very nice one, so at least it can be good (and it is SO good). The menu changes and there is a chef's board. Highly recommend the grilled ginger tuna. Great for a special, family or romantic dinner. Well done guys!

Great Anniversary Dinner!
Wow! So impressive both with food and service. I appreciated our waiter who was attentive but never pushy and provided excellent recommendations. Even when he was called away to help when another large party arrived, he made sure someone was taking care of us at all times even if he couldn't get to our table. I liked the small and medium plates which gave us the opportunity to try a bunch of different things. We had the meatballs, the smoked goat cheese bruschetta, and tuna tartare to start. Then we shared a lobster bisque- so good, yet different from traditional or at least what I had in my mind. The lobster pasta and the lambchops were our medium plates. I really loved the pasta. We had two desserts, one of which said happy anniversary. Very nice and delicious. Overall, so very happy we chose this place for our anniversary dinner. A definite highlight of our trip!Dear christineh78, we are happy to hear you loved your experience at Bacaro on your anniversary, and hope we will see you again soon!Cheers
